DNR denies there are any cougars in Nova Scotia. And I’ve seen two. One my wife and daughter saw it too, and I had to slam on the brakes to not hit it. I guess I should have.
If they are here, they are there.

You can do a few lobsters to take your mind off it...Those are good things to have...I remember a sea food joint on the NE side of the island that was wonderful...chunks of lobster the size of your thumb packed in a toasted roll just the way it should be. Much better than Maine version which is good too!! I'm pretty sure it wasn't kosher.

Grizzlies are in Canada. They’re in the US also. The wind River Range, Yellowstone, Montana. Outside of Yellowstone they are generally escapees thereof...

30 miles North of me and on into Canada...way North into AK and East into at least MT and maybe ND...or so I've heard. Maybe if we moved wolves and griz to the Southern border it would help solve one problem.

Nobody’s going to put grizzlies on the southern border and they’re just trying to get back what was stolen from them anyway. But isn’t that another topic....🙄
There’s grizzlies south of you too. We met the ranger along the Magruder corridor a few years ago who told us they regularly trap them and return them to Yellowstone where they escaped from....😂

We are experiencing a most beautiful day today which started out at 40* and has climbed to 75*....deep blue sky and abundant sunshine ☀️ 😊😊😊😊

I’ve been planting aspens, blue spruce, dwarf Alberta spruce, mountain lilac, roses and various bulbs....

Season open a couple days ago. My buddy that fishes had a sudden death in the family, so not sure when he’ll start. Soon I’m sure.
Always get around five one pounders or 4 two’s.
And yup, cut it up big with some miracle whip, and stuff as much in as you can. Yum.
Probably around the first of June I’ll get down. Fingers crossed.
Can’t wait.

I watched a Wildlife show a few days ago, and researchers were following a few grizzlies they collared. And yes they were into NM. Darn researchers!
