They have evacuated around Deka lk. He may be included in that. Just about the whole town of Lytton burnt down which is not in the same area but we don’t need to lose any more homes. Cutting back burn-ables from the house works but enough heat against concrete, cement or steel siding will ignite wood frame under it. Also the heat will run up the wall and ignite the soffit or wooden roof substructure. Best thing is good fire insurance.Yep, fire safe. That and me thinning the forest out 3-400’ back from the house.

Fingers crossed for you brother.we're all good.spent the day yesterday helping some friends move equipment and livestock from Deka lake due to the evac order.fires are burning all around us but the wind has cleared away the smoke,so we can really see all the plumes now.more lightning storms expected to pass through early next week.
