They have evacuated around Deka lk. He may be included in that. Just about the whole town of Lytton burnt down which is not in the same area but we don’t need to lose any more homes. Getting smoky here. Really sucks. Fingers crossed.

Yep, fire safe. That and me thinning the forest out 3-400’ back from the house.

Low 70's and 76% humidity. Pretty tolerable!

Cutting back burn-ables from the house works but enough heat against concrete, cement or steel siding will ignite wood frame under it. Also the heat will run up the wall and ignite the soffit or wooden roof substructure. Best thing is good fire insurance.

We have rain this morning and 60 degrees. I could actually wear my raincoat walking the dog.
Going to rain all weekend.
Rick and all of BC need that.
Saw video of Lytton. Everything was on fire. Most of the town is gone. A whole car dealership gone.
It’s already hot out there. 25 feels like 30. Around 80 feels like 90.
In Cold Lake. So probably hotter in BC. Making for long days out west.

we're all good.spent the day yesterday helping some friends move equipment and livestock from Deka lake due to the evac order.fires are burning all around us but the wind has cleared away the smoke,so we can really see all the plumes now.more lightning storms expected to pass through early next week.

62 this morning low humidity on way to 86 today with low humidity for few days then back to Sauna.
