Yep, I’ve seen it. I love the catalytic feature on ours. Closes the fire down at night, burns with such efficiency that no smoke comes out of the chimney. This is why they make chocolate and vanilla smitty 😍

Mine in the garage is EPA ? Haha, it reduces the smoke that comes out of the chimney by burning it off. Some still comes out but she will putt along

I've got two Vermont Casting wood burners, one wood stove rated at 1000 sq ft and a Sequoia fire place rated at 2000 sq ft, with both fired up, they won't come close to heating 3000 sq ft if it's down in the lower 20's. Looking to go back old school. When Melissa and I got married in 1982, I bought this crude looking wood stove, Ole # 7 and put it in a rent house we lived in, then moved twice more and took it with us, used it every place we lived in. The last place we lived in was around 1200 sq ft home. That stove would run you out if you cranked it up and would easily hold coals for ten hours. And it was old school. I'm disappointed in the Vermont Casting stoves I've got.

Except my girls want to start going down by themselves. So might have to get a new one. Home Hardware just had a nice 2,400 sf for $1,300 on sale. That’s probably $500 Canadian.
