Trump had that right. If you want to take your manufacturing out of the country, then you get taxed enough so your not making any more money than you were here. If we ever get really into it with China, we’re all screwed.

It’s none of our business you know. We have no formal treaty obligations with Ukraine. And Putin’s actions are a result of broken promises from the Reagan era that taking down the Berlin Wall would not result in further expansion of NATO eastward. Objectively, one cannot blame the consternation of the Russians at seeing western weaponry and troops creeping ever closer to their borders…
And then of course there’s the whole devilry of the West in 2014 when the Obama administration (and other western powers) supported the overthrow of the democratically elected government in Kiev. Consequences…..😉

Putin did what he had to do in Georgia during the Bush administration. He did what he had to do in Syria and Crimea during the Obama administration, and I suspect he’ll do what he needs to do in Ukraine during the Biden administration….😉
