Been to way too many funerals over the years.
A family across the street from me moved to the States in the early 90’s. The young guy, Adam, joined the US army. Went to Iraq. Got blown up in a Hummer. Lost an arm and both legs, and terrible brain damage. A damn shame. Some People forget so fast.

It didn’t get above freezing today. Strong north wind. It was damn cold. Light until 7:30 was nice.
Hopefully it gets warmer soon.

Musta been the same North wind...36 was the high and we haven't gotten to 7:30 yet but I'm confident it will be brighter than yesterday.

Spent the day wiring my Winter project trailer...7'x16" off road trailer that might sleep two or have room for the ATV or the Honda '74 C-90 we rebuilt in spare time.

Everything looks great. When do you break it in. Or did you already.

Hmmmm....kinda looks like misplaced shed on wheels. The bottom right side gets a laser cut 3'x5' American Flag, roof is RV rubber skin and I'm still playing with the idea of a 100 watt solar panel on the roof to keep the battery up. I'm getting a 4400 watt generator to run the 110 volt side mostly for heating and cooling, microwave and entertainment center....TV and tunes. I have a 40 gallon water tank and propane hot water for outside shower and washing inside and out. All lights are 12v LEDs and the side with the shower and window gets a pull out awning and maybe one on the rear too.

With good weather on the way I may get distracted by fishing and travel. I have 7 motorcycle trips that if I do them all it's eating into the Summer big time. Still playing with the trip to visit the Newfies...but...that's several weeks itself...might even detour to Halifax. Last time that way CP flew commercial there and I picked her up at the airport on my ST1300 but it's gone and so is the Goldwing. To answer your question Caper...who the hell knows...too many things to do and not enough time...gets worse the older I get. I originally planned this thing as a hunting camp on wheels...might be done by then.

I've had the license before I let it expire for 4 month's too long and have to take the class over, which I don't mind. Be good to bone up on the law section again. And I always hang back from the firing line. The instructor provides the gun and ammo, that way he's only got one gun to be concerned with. I'll be there early to help set up tables and chairs. Really looking forward to the class. And it won't cost me anything because I'm a member of the Fire Dept. where he teaches the class. He's a retired LEO.
Both instructors were retired LE and didn't care to hear them selves talk, the class was small due to little snow a couple days earlier, 5 total in the class, class started at 8:30 AM and finished at 10:30 AM, that's quick.

Same problem here but they are not so tiny...maybe in the medium range and go splat when they hit. Just heard forecast for tomorrow AM includes possible CB's (cumulus bangs) and big flashes to precede the bangs...accompanied with some heavy blows thru the trees. This would be the first since last Fall...does this mean Spring is just around the corner?

You make sure if you come to Halifax, shoot me a text and we’ll go out to supper. You’ll love NFLD.
If my buddy isn’t in Labrador fishing, I’ll get him to come too.
Have a great day brother.

I saw this little water heater for a shower. Uses a small bottle of propane.

Roger, copy!! Lots of hostile country between here and there. Remember that old Johnny Cash song..."son...don't take your guns to Canada".

What happen to @Montecresto or have I just been missing him?
He's probably off in some political forum defending the left, I don't think that's bad, just not my bag.
