It only got down to 19* last night. There went the Arkansas Blacks Apples, froze on the trees last night.

We have large apple farms in the valley up here. When it gets cold like that with apples or blossoms on the trees, they sprinkle the trees with water overnight. The ice protects them.
Feona wasn’t good for any apple trees up here, especially in Cape Breton. None left on the trees.

I’m going to Alberta on the 2nd hunting. They are supposed to get 4” of snow on Sunday. Not too cold yet.Around 20 degrees when I’m out there. They also have 2 moose tags. Should be good.
Are you having any luck.
Have a few does and fawns on camera at the camp. Got a big bobcat and a coyote right behind the camp.

Going to Alberta in November. They are getting 5” of snow tonight and tomorrow. But is this early for you guys, it will definitely be good for hunting there. Get the bucks moving.

They only plow in Alberta when it’s over a foot. Then put Little Rock’s on the road for traction. Everyone has a broken windshield. They can’t get insurance for broken windshields. Crazy

I hate this, we put down 125 lbs. of fescue seed in West Madison CO Thursday in a field freshly dozed. The rain will be welcomed for all of NW AR.

Yep! I hope it starts out slow, we over seeded the 2 acre plot and don't want the seed to wash off.
