Having the same problem with plum trees. When I cleared the spot for buildings 4 years ago I planted plum trees...damn things seem to just fall over on purpose to piss me off. Good to know about the Bradford pears...thanks Smitty!!

I have a guy a couple blocks away, lives on the corner, open to the wind. His pear trees have survived two hurricanes, plus all the Nor’Easters. They taste good too, when they come out.

Bradford Pear Trees don't hold up well in wind storms like last night, neighbors got a 15 year old that a 1/3 of it's on the ground for the 3rd time since he planted it, he's camping, started to let him know, but he can be disappointed when they get home.

Yep.....

Not only are these trees causing serious damage to native plants and shredding tractor tires, but they come with other problems as well. Structurally weak: Bradford Pear trees are structurally weak.

Still needs tiedowns , fenders and paint. But almost.

Perfect small water rig!! Wish I had one of them short wide boats to strap down on my little trailer...wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which gets full quicker. Nice job caper!

I saw one online that was painted not porcelain, and someone wanted $250 American. That’s about $1,000 Canadian. 😊
Couldn’t find that one at all.
