Just got 10,062 miles and 518 hours on it and no problems. Just oil changes and tires. I'm getting the clutch oil mod upgrade next year and hope to get 20,000 on it next year. I installed the Fox Shocks and a Teryx bucket seat back for my 7 hour rides.

Wow, that’s awesome and very encouraging for those of us with just a few hundred mile on ours , relatively new at this SxS thing . Not to be to noisy, but what is it that you do to get so many miles on , besides ride?

Wow that is awesome. You must do mostly dry running. I would expect at least a wheel bearing failure going by my Quad usage.

I cut the bottom off the Teryx seat frame so it mounts with 4 bolts. The stock seat back needs to be opened up to remove the foam. I use an electric knife to trim out the foam then glue it back and staple the edges. This mod moves the seat forward about 1 1/2 inches and may not be good for a 6 foot plus driver. This bucket seat back makes a 7 hour ride comfortable. The Fox Shocks help too. I put 11,931 miles on my 2016 Yamaha YXZ or I would have 22,000 on it. With good maintenance we should get 60,000 miles before we need any repairs. Low speed rocks and water will be less. My speed average was 19.4 and I did about 5 % rock crawling with the front locker on.

I run 8 to 11 PSI. My front tires have about 9,000 miles on them. I cut a side wall so replaced the rear tires. My 2016 Yamaha YXZ got 9,800 miles before I replaced the tires.

Man, that's great! I like hearing good news every now & then about the Pioneer. BTW, what about the 3 B's (as I call it?) Bearings, brakes & bushings. Have you had to replace any these yet?

Only had to replace bearings, ball joints, U-joints, and bushings on my Polaris models and I don't run in deep water. Had to replace the parking brake pads on my Yamaha YXZ at 11,000 and some miles. My brakes are still like new but some of the mud guys had had to replace them. I think the A-arms are rubberized and last the life of the vehicle. They must be installed per the shop manual so they are centered. Wheel bearings may wear out if run in water all the time or with a large wheel offset like a 4-3 wheel. I run 5-2's which will be a littler harder on the wheel bearings. For what these UTV's cost its inexcusable to have poor quality parts. Honda and Kawasaki are the best with high quality parts but anything can have a flaw and fail.

Can you clarify what you've had to replace on the Honda Pioneer? It sort of sounds like nothing at the point of this thread but just wanted to be clear.

Thanks,

Waylan

Might consider sending the same note to Honda directly. Who knows how positively they may respond....

Over 12,000 now and had to replace the shift cable and one exhaust rubber mount. Parts are under $35.00 so far. It looks like the sport models will use a version of this engine package so I expect They will be very reliable too. Like most on the forum I'm getting tired of waiting although I didn't wait. I bought the 2016 Yamaha YXZ even though I knew it had a lot of problems that needed to be fixed. Got over 13,000 on it now.
