Where to begin...I went to Zion NP and got bored really fast. No backcountry trails with the dog. Not much nearby areas to ride either and then the looming threat of an oncoming storm with possible snow in the higher passes. So I left and went up highway 12 towards Capitol Reef NP. Again no dog on trails and they wouldn’t let me ride the Plesant Creek/ South Draw Rd even though it’s a Jeep trail and hasn’t been maintained in 5 years. F- Off National Park system. I’m done supporting them. I was also gonna go ride the Notom-Bullfrog rd down to Bullfrog marina at lake Powell but the ferry was out for maintenance so I drove down UT-95 and was rewarded with such amazing beauty and spectacular views of the Glen Canyon NRA. I then camped at Natural Bridges NM last night and hike to the various bridges then drove down the Moki Dugway Switchbacks then over through the Valley of the Gods. I have tons of photos but some are on my other device. So they may seem out of order. Btw, Capitol Reef was so empty. Plus they’re starting to take reservations there so plan accordingly. I still like it there but due to the restrictions I may not return anytime soon.
