I have a pic from the 1st time I was ever there in a rental Jeep. Standing at the top, I saw this tiny spec starting up from the bottom (on the road). Turned out the be a Ford Expedition!

Verisimilitude dude.
After leaving Moab this morning in a rainstorm I drove through the desert of Castle Valley on 128 in Utah then picked up I 70 over into Colorado where it was snowing to the point of near white out blizzard in some areas. Did manage to stop off in Grand Junction to order a new sleeping bag from WIGGY‘s. I got a great deal on a 0° rectangle bag with hood in XXL. It’s gonna be in Marpat Camouflage. I really love their sleeping bags I picked one up 10 years ago at their warehouse there and it has lasted extremely well. I did dry it one time in a dryer and it kind of melted the corner so I figured it was time to re-up and get a new quality bag. Excellent quality made in the United States. They also have some government contracts and I understand they have built sleep systems for the military in the past too.

I had planned to ride into rabbit Valley and camp out there but because of the inclement weather it seems like a poor choice and instead of going directly to rifle Colorado were my friends mom lives it was also heavily snowing there as well so my buddy and his wife invited me to their resort condo up at sunlight mountain ski resort Just south of grand junction Colorado. I’ll be staying here for a few days and it seems that they have gotten the best snow so far this year and at this point it’s 10 inches deep. Tomorrow we might take out his Haaglund tracked vehicle. He says there is a trail here that goes from sunlight Mountain all the way to Grand Junction but is typically mainly used as a snowmobile trail and is otherwise non-usable during the rest of the year. I also may take a ski lesson tomorrow as well as I have never gone skiing before. This place is like a luxury super luxury hotel. I am very blessed to be here. Thank you to everybody so far for those of you who have been following this thread. I appreciate all of your likes and support and comments. The pix of the Haaglund are from last year in Rifle. It’s being delivered here to Sunlight Mountain ski Resort tomorrow. Aaaaahhhhhhh freaking excited!

I hope you had a great time in Goldfield Arizona my father-in-law is really good friends with the owner it's really any place and they got some halfway decent ATV'in UTV'in spots to go on thanks for sharing the pictures

A really cool place. I chatted with the Maintenance guy for a while. Hit him up on all the cool mine history. Old hippy drives a gator around the park. Love all the old iron!
