Malcolm shows some serious talent at times. Bet it was rough coming up with James as a brotherI saw an interview with James dad he said he would race again but he wouldn't do it without a paycheck and a factory bike. But he was riding a CRF 450 at home and he's out of race shape.
Totally agree. I think his confidence is up due to success outdoors. I'd bet he has a race win coming.I think if Eli and Roczen make any mistakes Barcia could pull off a win or two in supercross.
Oh man I’m totally with you. James was so fun to watch, his riding style (mainly the bubba scrub) basically changed the way people rode dirt bikes. I remember watching him outdoors on a 125 doing jumps only the top 250 riders would try and his lap times were lower than all but one or two 250 riders, and not by much! I’m not even sure what happened to James. He never really retired and everyone kept saying he’s coming back. But I’m sure he’s done, we’ll never see him ride againDon't hate on me for bringing this up.....but I still wished James Stewart had tried a comeback again. He's still one of my top 3 all time faves. When he rode for that Indian casino bunch, he really was fastest man on a motorcycle. And so smooth! He looked like he was making practice laps but setting fastest times every lap
I'm still mad at him for quitting in his prime.Wow I hadn’t heard this! I don’t think villipoto can hang with these guys anymore but it will be really cool to see him out there
I've watched a couple documentaries about Villipoto. You walk away with the impression that he hated racing. I'm thinking maybe his family pushed him into it or more that they sacrificed so much he felt like he had no choice but to do it. I've never seen someone so talented, dominating, and wealthy at such a young age that just hated itI'm still mad at him for quitting in his prime.
I think he hated all the non racing aspects of it. Travelling, tv, etc.I've watched a couple documentaries about Villipoto. You walk away with the impression that he hated racing. Yes and training and the pressure to win. But I think his attitude has changed since then. He did red bull straight rhythm, 125 dream race at washougal, both of which are more laid back fun events. Check out "Ryan Villipoto: Story of a champion" on YouTube. It's about 45 minutes but very interesting. I've watched like 3 times!I think he hated all the non racing aspects of it. That was some illiterate jumbo I need to pay attention betterWon't be him toll late this afternoon can't wait to see what happens. Flynn aren't you in northern California. Do you have smoke from the fires or can you see any of them.
Yes we have had a lot of smoke here. A couple weeks ago there was even ash raining down. Fortunately I’m in a predominantly agricultural area so everything around me stays green through the summer but we can definitely feel the effects.Won't be him toll late this afternoon can't wait to see what happens.
