MSRP is definitely available an hour from my house and they have some units on the showroom floor. The dealer 5 miles away from the house has a pretty full showroom now but they are still 1-2k over MSRP.

Not saying you’re going to get a “deal” by the end of the year but you can most likely get one at MSRP at least.

I think the days of under msrp are done for a while.MSRP with out add ons is pretty close to fair for the short term.
I think under MSRP is coming back faster than you think. Car/truck dealer lots are also filling up with inventory. I saw an ad air for $8,500 a Ram a week or so ago. Housing prices are dropping some as well. I’m starting to see some national articles talking about the housing bubble correction even.

I shelled out MSRP and got them to discount all of their BS fees. They said they couldn't due to the truth and lending laws, but I suggested they give me a discount reflecting the fees considering they would be charging before the discount. Took some doing but finally succeeded.

When the say/claim they can't reduce fees, then get them to throw in accessories to make up for it.

I’ve alway just said I’m willing to pay X amount, I don’t care how they list it out on the final sales doc, they could list 50% of it as fees but I’m only paying X amount. Now this may not be as doable the past year but has worked well for me over the years.

We bought the better half a new car and it still worked, you just can’t have an unreasonable expectation on current market values.

I wanted to dig up this old thread to see what pricing folks are experiencing on new 1000s, especially 5s? I did a search and this was this closest thread I could locate.

I have reviewed a lot of dealer websites within a couple hundred miles of my area. Some of the dealers have a few thousand listed off 2023s. I have actually engaged any dealers, try not to open that can of worms prematurely...

I thought I had a 2023 pioneer 1000-6 bought that they marked down. Well after they added all the fees it was more than I can buy a new 2024 at a dealer that has no add on fees.
This one?

Definitely some deals to be had. Bet it gets better too. Big dealer here wouldn't take a buddy's 22 pioneer for a talon. Said they were too full of machines.
