Same here. This is the second tire that formed cracks on the sidewalls and these tires are not cheap. Checked tire pressure evrytime we ride.I love my Big Horn 28 inch 2.0's but we don't have big pointy rocks where I ride either.
Thanks. I will give that a try for sure.Maxxis warrantied a pair of big horns for me on a RZR after they had treads start to separate from the tire roughly 200 miles in.
It's worth putting a call/email into Maxxis IMO.
I've been pretty happy with my tusk trilobites- just a maxxis bighorn knock off. 8ply. I think that trade patterns pretty good for the riding that we do. Somebody that does a ton of hard pack or roads may disagree.
Worth checking with them for warranty. I’ve ran a lot of BH 2.0’s on multiple machines and never had that happen.Thanks. I will give that a try for sure.
Which copies did you go with?Being around snow and mud so much I like the 2.0’s. We went with some 29” Bighorn copies this time around for 1/2 the price and they so far have been excellent tires. We had a lot of sidewall punctures with factory Bighorns and so far so good with these 6pl copies. They are much more robust
That’s good to know CP because I can’t get anywhere in the snow over here in my stocker 2.0’s Btw, do 29’s fit without lift or arched A arms? These

You can tell how much more beefy they are, obviously this is comparing worn tread to new but the tread is thicker and taller then stock. Awesome tire. They were incredible this year in the snow. Went deep into the pokies with no problems.

You’d need arched front for these to get underThat’s good to know CP because I can’t get anywhere in the snow over here in my stocker 2.0’s Btw, do 29’s fit without lift or arched A arms?
So 28’s???You’d need arched front for these to get under
Thank youI have 28's BH 2.0's on my 1000-3 and have had no problems.
That could be cool, I know that my OEM 2.0’s aren’t cleaning out the snow at all, which is why I’m getting stuck. How do they wear on hard pack?I always find the mud lights better in snow and clay for clearing, I got the 27X12s 350 I think they are 400 now. we have a ton of mud and deep snow, people I know with bighorns normally sell them, around here not even a good summer tire. as long as you don't ride the roads or rocks a ton, they ride smooth and handle decent too. the utv 2.0 is radial and rated for like 1k+LBS
two wheel drive stuff with these and not slipping
