I'm working on my cuts now. That B pillar is being a pain in the @ss! Only place I can see to get 4.5 inches out is where the headrest V bar is. Anyone have a work around that?
Mine is a 1000-5 I have 6 post
I cut my b-pillars at a z. The outside was about an inch longer on the top at the outside and then a out 1/2" taller on the bottom on the inside. This way I could over lap the 2 pieces and keep the gussets on both sides. I also sleeved mine with tubeI'm working on my cuts now. That B pillar is being a pain in the @ss! I need to chop mine to fit in the toy hauler. When you cut the a, b, and c pillars, do you have to change the length of the upper bar front to rear?
With 3" removed, I did not add any between the a and b pillar.
No, I cut mine 4” in the front and 5” in the back without changing the lengthI need to chop mine to fit in the toy hauler. When you cut the a, b, and c pillars, do you have to change the length of the upper bar front to rear?

Kinda hard to tell, but it looks like you have a SATV flip up windshield... How much modifying to it did you have to do? I've been interested in chopping mine but I like my windshield too much to do away with it...
I would recommend using the stock cage mounts to realign the pieces before welding. Is this done normally with the cage still mounted in the vehicle?
Is it a P1K5? You got any pics of this chop? Maybe a side view?? I was thinking doing 4 all around but may like the 5 at the rearNo, I cut mine 4” in the front and 5” in the back without changing the length
