Very nice! Only one caution, be sure you can get plastic big enough to make the big piece. If I remember right, that's why I made mine in 3 pieces. Could only get the plastic in 4x8. Again, very nice work. Smart move on the openings in front of the back tires. Please share pics when complete.

I'm having Regal Plastic cut it out for me. They have 5 x 10 sheets from what I was told by the sales rep. Thanks for the tip though.

I think you're talking about the 10MM bolts. look it up on Rocky Mtn fiche finder, they normally show the bolt size with the part number. add 10MM to length for 3/8 thick skid.

The ones that hold up the stock skid are (6mm 1.0) I need the ones all the way up front. Right under the front dif. Are they 10mm?

I got mine yesterday. They look great, now to just make sure they fit. I had them quote the three piece after i made a few changes to it. Then I decided to make the center/rear section one piece. I sent them the file back but apparently the didn't open it until after they had ordered the material. Unfortunately they ordered 4 x 10 so I had to go back to the three piece design. I moved the split a little to keep the extra heat escape hole. I plan to bolt it up this weekend. Update to follow.

Looks good. What did it cost to have that cut/shipped to you?

That's a good looking plate. That middle section is going to be a beast to get mounted but I like it.

I had three made. Material and shipping I'm at $359 each. I think by the time I get the longer bolts, extra washers and spacer I'll be right at $400. Maybe a little over but not much. Hope to get it mounted this weekend and take it to Ride Royal Blue to test it Jun 24-28.

When you spec your longer bolts dont get them to long. I had all the bolts in my two main frame member not want to come out. I stripped the head and drilled them off and then had to use some vice grips to get them out. When I finally got them out they had some corrosion on them from being in the mud. They were even stainless steel. I just ordered shorter bolts to reduce how many threads stick out of the weld nut. I attached a picture so you can see what I am talking about.95a744d35768dd4b367deebb0ab3ca21

It's on. Fit really close to perfect. I messed up a contour measurement on the outer frame rail but it doesn't affect anything but my OCD lol. (you can see it in the fifth picture) I had to oblong the four holes on the front to get them perfect so I'll update that on my DXF file and they will be spot on from here out. Total cost $429.97.

material plus shipping from Regal Plastic $359. 20 pcs of the Honda OEM washers $40. 50 pcs M6x1.0x20MM flange bolts from Amazon $18.98. 20 pcs M6x1.0x50MM bolt $11.99. 1 pcs 25MM and 2 pcs 10MM spacers free from the scrap pile at work, 4 pcs M10x1.25 bolts free from sway bar removal.

I bought 3 sets of the skids. one for myself and two for friends. one guy has decided to trade his Pioneer in on a Talon. no idea how much shipping would be but I may be putting it up for sale on here if I can't find someone local.

Looks great. If you plan on riding any really rocky areas, I'd go ahead and put some angle iron on your side rails while everything is clean and straight.

Angle or tube gussets would be a great upgrade. I may have to cut my outer panels to match your openings. This is definitely one of the cleanest DIY installs around
