Cant seem to find the dimensions for a p1k5 full skid plate online anywhere. Does anyone have them ? My work has a burn table i can use. I can get them climbing underneath my machine but thought i would ask first.
Thanks
Thanks
Maybe someone close to you has a stock skid plate you could barrow or have, There not a full skid but would get you started, it would be helpful for the access hole locations.Cant seem to find the dimensions for a p1k5 full skid plate online anywhere. There you go, perfect!I will be headed to Chattanooga up I-59, Wednesday I’ll give you my unblemished factory skid if you want it.
Thats ok . I got my stock skid. I just thought someone might have had them for time sake. Thank u tho. There you go, perfect!
Ok thank youI used my stock one as a template. I didn't add holes as large as Honda to avoid big sticks and rocks getting on top.

Looks awesome! Going to make mine also. What thickness did you go with?
I think it depends on where you mostly ride.. if you’re beating and banging in the rocks all the time.. thicker would be good! If you bust one there is no warranty to replace, just buying another sheet.I was thinking 3/8" would be plenty, thanks for your insight. What were the dimensions you bought?
It's a harder plastic its easier to machine than uhmwUhmw... whats delrin?
I don’t know that harder is goodIt's a harder plastic its easier to machine than uhmw
I used UHMW because its a bit more flexible and less brittle. I ride at 0°F and enjoy hitting climbing ice obstacles. The UHWM has held up well. Delrin is an acrylic so it will be more likely to crack.
I'd consider HDPE but I think UHMW is still a better choice. In my experience UHMW cuts as easy as wood with the same tools.
