Like the pic with a flag, but put a fake fire hydrant beside the pole in respect of the flag. LOL

You didn’t tag my pic but I’m assuming it was for me? Lol, my boys know better not pee on the flag pole and never have, even the one at the house. The flag pole you see has landscaping sones in a circle around it’s base now and is full of spent various shells (brass) from when we shoot.

We had a “grand puppy” who was a Jack Russell; runt of the liter. We loved that dog more than you’d believe and cried like babies when got sick and had to put down. He was our best buddy, always right with us. Sure miss him. He’d ride on the folded down middle seat of the F-150 for hours; to bad he died before I got the P500.

We have a chiweenie we got while on the road when I worked in aviation to keep the wife company I worked 10-26 hour shifts, he was raised on the center console of my F250 in a doggie bed going state to state for work. He loves to go out on the Pioneer I just have to yell "load up" and he is in the cab. If I go outside and get in a vehicle or the Pioneer he will tear my blinds down he wants to go riding.

Awe I absolutely love dogs!! Loved seeing everyone’s and their stories! I want to bring our dogs riding and camping with us but didn’t know if people did that or not. They love riding in the SxS and being with us all the time! We have two dogs, a female GSP and a male Doberman. The GSP, Jessie, goes to work my husband everyday and is up his butt constantly. The Doberman, Jericho is my daughter and I dog and always with us. He is great with all kids and people and such a old soul dog. Ty calls him lazy and useless but I think he is perfect lol

Rather somber around our house today, last night our little guy left us, he was 4 months shy of 16 years old. He loved the outdoors and the P5 so I hope he has one up in heaven, ride on Ruger, gonna miss you.

These are our two little "Rescue" girls, Rae and Sadie. We aren't sure how old they, the vet says, she thinks both are around five years old. Both were found wandering the streets of Orlando. Some say they are lucky to have found us, I say we are the lucky ones.

And this is Bella our other girl. Great friend, loves the side x side.

This new thread reminded me of this old one. My Jack Russel passed away years ago, more reason why I like threads like these.

My wife and I adopted a Giant Airedale in Hurricane,UT He was three when we got him and knew commands in Spanish and it took me about two weeks to get him to understand English.

One day we were walking in an area that was undergoing some development in a very large park and I saw a Coyote as I crested a hill. Buddy had not seen it and I just turned around and walked the other way. We crested the next hill and and there was another Coyote about 30 yards away. Buddy and I saw him at the same time and he was gone. He had an overdrive gear I had never seen before. The Coyote just stood there and must not have realized that Buddy was coming for him. The Coyote started to run but it was too late. All 108 lbs of Giant Airedale had him down in a flash holding him by the throat. This was the only time he didn’t come when I called. After the third time I called, Buddy finally let the Coyote go and headed back towards me. The Coyote tried to nip him in the butt and Buddy got him down again in a flash. I had never heard a Coyote distress call before and it was such a loud screech I thought every Coyote in the state was on the way. I finally got Buddy to let him go and the Coyote took off screeching the other way.

Five minutes latter I talked to a park Ranger and told him about the Coyote and he said it happened every once in a while that he gets a call that a Coyote took off with someone’s little dog.

I‘ve had dogs in my life for all of my 72 years and Buddy was my favorite. I miss him every day.

I got Buddy to jump up on my baby brothers bunk at hunting camp and took the picture. I also bought the poster and hung it above his bunk.
