I just purchased these for my 2020 pioneer 1000-5 and as far as I know they should fit and work well just the rate is different from the 3 seater to the 5 seater. I plan on changing springs either way if I had I purchased new or not. These are supposed to be new open box. I made an offer of $900 and my offer was accepted. I would like some guidance if I made a good/correct choice?

Does anyone have any quick links or suggestions for spring rate? I do have some accessories I keep packed in the pioneer often.
Man you got a deal. I'm running 250 lb on the front and 300 rear. I'm pretty sure this is what most everyone is using. I think if you keep the bed loaded down you may want to go a little heavier with the rear. I haven't had passengers yet but I'm hoping I can put the rear shocks on the firm setting and be good. I run front and rear on the softest setting with just me and the wife.

Sizes you need are 2.5" x 14 for front and 3" x 14 for rear. I set my preload to 2" front and 1.75" rear

Thank you greatly! Are there better brands than others? I saw some people running name brands and others that were less expensive.

Ive had Eibach springs I got from Summit 4yrs ago and they have been great. Cant speak for the others. As for your shocks being different From a P3 to a P5, if your changing the springs, then don't worry about it.

Not sure if any brand is better than another. I bought viper brand off Amazon just because they were the only black ones I could find

So far it seems the Viper are around $60 each while eibach is around 110 each. Is there anywhere that I could find that may give good guidance for calculating load for proper spring rate?

I saw this morning the guy claims he has 2 more sets left:

I know ebay has the buyer guarantee and I have used it in the past a couple times and so far eBay has worked out for me.

I will keep this thread updated with my purchase experience.

Just to add some info on my research. I am trying to figure out some logistics on what spring rate I want. I think I have decided on Viper Coils. So far the best price I have found on them is from FOA. Their website coil description doesn't make much sense because the label the 14" spring as tender, rear or front primary, and just a "coil". I sent an email to confirm these "labels" this is the response I received.

Just purchase the coils based on the ID length and rate no difference between primary and tender just how we had to data log them for inventory

Thank you

I got my new shocks today. They are pristine and I don't think I would have second guessed them if someone said they were brand new. I will upload some photos of them. They were very well packaged. Three were in a sealed bag and 1 was in an opened bag. The pictures I will upload is of the one that was open. That way I don't bore you with a bunch of photos. The one that was opened looked like it had some tooling marks on the tensioner nut, and some dust around the base of the coil. The other 3 are flawless.
