My wife and I took the talon out for the first time yesterday. I work evenings so we got in a few hours. This is such a huge step up from arctic cat. I love the transmission. More room and storage. Instrument panel is a little small. Thursdays are one of my days off so I was going to go back to the trails with my WR 250f motorcycle. But instead I took the talon. I've never done that before. My son says I'm officially old now because I opted for the sxs.

I just retired from dirt bikes, after 50 years, I conceded my age (72 at the time) and bought the Talon. I love this dual range, six speed, paddle shiftin' dirt kart and will be exploring the backcountry until my health fails me.

For me it’s like jeez - it’s Honda’s flagship (only) sport SXS and the best they can do is borrow a display from a utility machine. No actual coolant temp, battery voltage, engine oil punp pressures, etc.
Imagine if it actually displayed the fault codesbasic description instead of counting blinks? I know it’s sniveling but cmon Honda - cool graphical dash displays with the analog data from the machine brain is a thing from the competitors.

And what am I going to do with that information, nothing.

The other guys have to put bells and whistles in their junk to make up for it being a pile of s***.

good day - heard u the first time !!!!

for some reason actual coolant temp is a biggie for me and I’m a gauge watcher in my vehicles even though nothing has happened for a long long time like bad water pump , etc….

I'm 'only' 61. Maybe I've got a few years of 2 wheeling left. Talon seats are much more comfortable than dirt bike seat tho
About that -

Met a guy in a Talon X, while I was sitting in it, he asked me if I noticed anything different?

I did, the seat wasn't pushing on my lower back.

He had raised the front of the seat 1-1/2" and the back 1"; it's very noticeable. I've done the same to mine. Caveat - doing this without tapering the two heights to align, my seat slider is bound up. I don't care until I let someone else drive because the seat won't move. :(
