Anyone know if 30x10x14 terrabites will fit on stock suspension? I've read a lot of people say they measure small and in some pics they looks small especially on the back. I have 4- 28x10s in my shopping cart I'm just hesitant to pull the trigger.
I went back and forth with this very decision... I came to the conclusion it will work if you don't ride hard but that I would have issues if I didn't do aarms.. I bought 28's.

I decided to do a-arms and not worry about it... gives me @2" more clearance under the arms without a lift or Tires. I'll end up with 30's probably but the 30's I'm looking at are only @28.5" at 10psi so @3" taller than the 27's that come on it.

I appreciate all the help. I placed my order, 14" sti hd4's matte black (5-2 spacing) and 28x10 terrabites. Also ordered 1" spacers for the back. I'll be sure to post up some pics, might be next week until I get them on.

Finally....

Pretty happy with the setup so far. Tires only measure 27 3/8" with 15psi, I wish they were an inch taller. Over all I gained 3/4" in the front but lost 3/4" in the rear? Not sure how that happened, I'll remeasure at a later time.

Are you measuring with two straight edges from tire to tire at perfect opposites? I ask because that's how I measured my 27"s and they came out to an honest to goodness 27" on the dot. But I'm running 20 lbs so maybe that's why?

I had a 36" straight ruler I stood up agaInst the tire and laid a small level on top the highest part of the tread ...

I see. I assume this measurement was taken with the wheel/tire mounted on the machine. The weight of the machine will compress the tire a little so I'd bet if you measured the fronts and backs they would be 28". Good looking rig anyhow!

In other words...Your stock tires were 27 inchers but mounted on the machine they would've probably measured 26 3/8" from floor to top so you probably have actually gained an inch.

I actually never measured the height of my old tires/wheels, I picked a reference point on the fender(front and back) and that's what I'm basing my over all height gain by. Over all I'm happy don't get me wrong, and I haven't checked at full lock to see if it would have handled 30s anyhow. Thanks for the comments
