If you see these bees, leave them be. They're non aggressive and beneficial pollinators for many crops.
"Anthophora abrupta are potential pollinators of many important crops including: cranberry, tomato, blackberry, asparagus, persimmon, clover and raspberry."

So the $30 firemaple is a win for sure!! It doesn’t have a regulator like the minimo jet boil and is more a copy of the jet boil flash so it will only boil. However, they did the lid and handle right! The handle rotates to lock the lid on. 4B3A0C00 F571 4F91 92B1 D36880AC5C6767DAEF6D 1E7F 4101 8E0B 4E433BB3841FA53E343E F063 4437 B21B B01CBCA60F73

Thanks for the little review/comparison. So the one or two trip a year crowd you'd recommend it to at the sale price?

If you’re only looking to boil water.. yes. For actual cooking on the stove... Jetboil minimo! But this is a great bargain for the sale price! I’ll use it as a back up or leave it in the deer stand or something like that.

My buddy and I got my Vortex Microbe mixer up and running today. I'll be mixing my own fertilizers and no @JTW , not that kind...I'm mixing a batch of fish emulsion, Chelated Iron and Potassium to drench the soil around my blueberries and elderberries tomorrow. If you can find various trace minerals, micronutrients and other natural additives, you can make some really awesome compost/fertilizer teas. I'll also be incorporating Bio-char to top dress everything and eventually mix into my potting soils, after having soaked it in a bath, in it's very own giant teabag.

This is the steam distiller I'm making from two old stainless steel milk cans. Bad water in one set on a wood stove and then it will evaporate into a lower one. I'll use pex pipe and run them to and from the various inlets on the lids.

Remember the pilgrims? When they met the local native Americans, they learned certain farming techniques, one of which was to add fishguts etc to the plantings- typically corn, beans and squash (the 3 sisters). It's never a bad thing to put away some fish emulsion. It keeps well in sealed containers and Organic fish emulsion contains ample NPK (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium). Organic fish emulsion puts micronutrients back into the soil, constantly replenishing and rebuilding. ... The minerals and other organic matter that fish emulsion puts into the soil makes for healthier, more pest-resistant plants. I have about 60 gallons. It can also attract predators like opossums, skunks, and any other meat eating varmint. Put out some Have-a-heart live traps and you catch dinner too!

Grow your own food ! My pickin this morning, got a crap ton more to pick this evening, then the misses will can most of it. Contrary to popular belief, if you dont wash an egg when its straight from the coop, it will be good for 2 weeks or so just setting out at room temp. That fat one is a duck egg and super tasty. Duck eggs HAVE to be cooked, what I mean is you cant lick the cake batter spoon if you use them for cooking. Make a nice cake though and rich.If a cake recipe calls for 3 eggs only have to use one duck egg. Also grow your misses some flowers !

I'm bringing this up again due to the wide arrangement of optional conveyances available to those with the wits to create something of this nature. It'd be an excellent way to get around, harvest forest goods and so on. The old speeders can be had for around $3,500. There are already many 100's of miles of abandoned rail lines all across the country. Think of what it'd be like after the shtf...

Anyone wanting a rail machine to be powered can also utilize peddle power or make a wood gasifier to run a gas engine. Might not have gas but there should be plenty of wood to be had.
