Well I didn't really know where to ask this, so here's some mud for the water, Has anyone thought about a drain for the stock roof to keep the wall of water from coming in the cab after a night rain?

Man do I love my solid windshield!

I would just break it and have it so scratched up you couldn't see through it, I ride in tight woods, like I broke my rear view mirror.

Have chainsaw........will travel!
At our cabin in Pettigrue you would never get to ride just prune, I need to replace my shortie wind shield at night all you see is the scratches.Tear offs???? Been thinking about having the short windshield tented and move it up top for a sun visor and getting new shortie.

I'm looking forward to trying my tinted upper windshield visor tomorrow

Only concern I would have is the reservoirs working loose and flapping in the wind. They will function at any angle.

So my rear shocks after the highlift. Does anyone see a reason this won’t work? It puts the reservoirs out where you can actually adjust them.

I would cut the excess of the hose clamp, it looks like it may rub on the hose behind it. Other than that, ride on!

Yea I cut the clamps down. Just worried about those reservoirs and the hoses for them. I think this will work. After the lift kit my rear is 3” higher than the front. Not sure what the hell is going on with that. Which I have cranked my rear shocks way up because it squatted so bad. It was level before I did the high lifter kit tonight. It’s way stiff in the back but I assume it’s because of the rear being so cranked up.

Done and now me and @Ragnar406 @Tigermark are at Waffle House for some dinner.

Not a bad idea, I may try it. It’s a pain to adjust in the recommended location.

You could try this.....

We thought about that as well. The hosing on the reservoirs on these elkas is just so stiff and hard to make flex in any direction. We actually looked at the same brace you have yours mounted on. I can’t believe how much it raised the rear. I had previous cranked my rear WAY up to get it level. The high lift kit raised the front maybe 2 inches and the back around 5-6 I think. It’s got a crazy rake now. Have to lower the rear shocks back down. Still baffled how this happened.

That really doesn’t sound right... has the suspension settled yet?

I added the lift before shocks so I didn’t have any issue. I guess if you had a couple inches of preload over factory shocks it would work out to 4-5”..

Was there beer involved in this mod install? Reminds me of the tent incident. What were you thinking, push up bra?
