It's been hard to start since summer. Feels like tight valves but they are in spec. It's weird. Plenty of juice. And I agree with Honda car factory batts! Funny. We have Yamaha sleds they're the most dependable just because Honda doesn't build one.

Is it FI? If so could be fpr bleeding down while parked. Turn key on for sec, turn off. Turn on for a sec, turn off. Repeat that bout 4 times and see if it starts better. If it does, you got an Oring bad on your fpr.

That is if it's designed like every other fpr on the planet. Knowing popo it probably isn't.

If it has a shrader valve on the line, you can borrow pressure tester from auto parts store for free.

Mine was worried about wheel bearing grease on the carpet. Lots of cardboard protected from that.

The shock took a sec to figure out. You build the door then take hanging fish scale at the top shock mount point to weight the door after mounted to figure weight. Ok 31 pounds. (Actually 6.5 but it's heavier closer to the hinges because of lever action) I used 35 works great. You use extension mount on door and that uses shock to pull door in when shut. Built mount on factory bolt spot works great. A couple braces were added also can never be too solid. It's coming! Look at shock I made sure to use one with defroster wire clips, I'll be adding exterior lighting on the doors to make up for the tinted windows. View attachment 28662

Done with the Xmas parties. Pioneer time! Routered the holes out for the windows so they sit flush and are more aesthetically appealing. Gunna make paint today. A little bit of bodywork because I want these nice I guess call it the car guy in me. 30 years of paint and bodywork and I'm working with a sxs not sure if good or bad but I can't let things go

Came back and used two-part urethane on the joints. That makes sure there aren't any voids between the two and helps with strength. I think it looks a lot better when done. If tape is used prior it will look even better. Df479aeb78b658eb8f4b8f155cb67090F039873c84e465082dcb4766092173a4

Prime time. Wasn't going to finish there's super good but might as well look good before they get torn up lol
Ran out of wire for the welder but keep going. Used two-part to fill the hole that came on the hinges it'll work just fine. Cut them down and made them more appealing as well. 70773adbdb260f832bcbc6f5ca8e61b1

I am very excited to see it all finished and put together. Man CP you are an artist
They should be on tonight! Might be a late one.
Everything squirted. I'm using GM paint code wa8624 matches fairly well. I could tint everything around so it matches Honda oem better but there's a lot of paint work to do and just not going to tint every time. Anyways I know the owner he my be a prick but he lets me slide sometimes lol
