I have been staring at my shop for the last few days and realize it looks like a mechanical version of hoarders. So I made this thread if anyone has any handy tips, particular products or ideas for organizing a shop/garage post them up! I need all the help I can get!

Depends on how much you can afford to pay for the organizers (shelves/bins).

HF has a bunch of storage stuff that isn’t too bad actually. Lowe’s has some good heavy duty shelving that is very reasonably priced and you can piece meal it together as you need it.

no kidding me to!! I have several akron bins and ordered some of the less expensive hazard fraught version today. I have a small area above my shop room that has served as a catch all plan is to take my room full of bolts connectors ect and build a stair case that lowers so I can easily access them but them not take up so much floor space.

I am also thinking of making some holders for drills and impacts from pvc pipe.
It seems every time I clean out/straighten up my shop, I will tell myself I will do a better job in the future of KEEPING it organized. For some reason, it never works out that way ...... lol

Yeah, well... with tractor and implements, boat, enclosed trailer, sxs, mower, gator, and all the other s***. It’s gets pretty tight. I’m going to have to add on or build another building.
