Joey even has a damn roomba clean his shop, if I set a roomba on the floor in my shop all the spare parts and junk would get jealous and eat it.

True story by the way. You can find older ones for dirt cheap. I paid $85 and it’s been rolling in the shop for a week or so. It’s awesome

It is definitely a lot cheaper to just keep shyt in a pile. Lol

I spend way to much time working on stuff to have a total mess. I really try to stay efficient so my projects are successful and I have time for other things

Is it possible to double triple quadruple like @joetmt33!!!! I built my 32x40 last May and somewhat finished it in November. But organizing is something I want to move slow on. I don’t want to just throw bins up here and the. Not like it. I don’t want to put something here and then figure out it show be over here. And now I have holes ever where. Maybe anal but a lot of bourse went into building it so I want it right!!
enough of me blabbing a couple things I’ve done so far.

Oh I totally agree. I was just making a joke. I've spent a small fortune on Milwaukee boxes and other organizational stuff. I absolutely HATE looking for tools when I'm working on stuff.

My oldest brother is polar opposite. I swear he spends more time looking for his tools than he does working on things. Therefore he never gets much accomplished.

I put all my tools away before leaving my garage so they dont get lost and use drawer organizers so I know exactly what is missing or didn't get put back. Also it keeps my brother from borrowing tools and not returning.

Great ideas! I picked up some more bins and the 3D printed wall mounts for m12 and m18 tools today. I also found some C channel from a trailer I scrapped so I can start welding together a stair case for the loft area. Seems like every time I clean I start a project then it looks like a wild yeti got drunk in the shop lol
Well, I say this tongue in cheek, never mind!

I try to have everything on wheels. That way I can move stuff away from the walls and clean underneath. I have heavy pallet shelves that I can load with the front forks on my tractor.
Also built shelves for things that I dont need but dont want to through away.

I’m the same way. Welding table is on wheels, grinder and cut off table is on wheels, the press is on a pallet and can be moved with the pallet jack.

Also built the shop with a slope on the floor so it can be washed out with a hose. It’s 52’ deep and drops 5” over 52’. The cabinets are set one cement board blocks so they don’t wick moisture and I rinse the floor and squeegee it out real quick with the help from the 5” drop.

Whats a good caster wheel that is weldable? I don't do well with wood work.

Never though about sloping the floor! But her in Texas I dont have a mud problem but a couple times a year.😆
Also the pallet jack is one of the handiest tools in my shop.

I buy all swivel casters and weld a square tube that a 2" 11ga square tube will slide into. Then I build all my tables with 2" legs. If I want to move a table I can lift it with a pallet jack and put the casters on to move.
I have bought some at Northern Tool

Been building a work bench and organizational peg system over the last couple weeks. Just recently bought this place so a lot to be done in here...
