Well after screwing up a brake line “pushing over a big tree for the Polaris crowd to get through” last weekend I figured it was a good idea to fix it right.
Made a call to an ol friend to get the right stuff, @jak9922 hooked me up good and stainless on the way. Thank you buddy I’m looking forward to this.
Will be riding with three brakes only this weekend but still headed out. New tie rod and few other things needed won’t be here in time either but get them in next week. @WillyBill still at Xmas Hills clearing some trails, we left everything up there so could get up a little quicker. Be in the trails again soon today!

Always have to give credit where credit is due we wouldn’t have been able to afford going up this weekend but @WillyBill was going to be staying so we left everything and made this trip easy.

We got up with a little hassle and made good time so we did a little maintenance to the machines @WillyBill was more than happy to give a hand which made a five man job and one man job. It was nice to be able to get up here and finally get some things done on both the Honda and the Yamaha.
Willybill and I are finally done or we can take a ride it’s the start of an early night ride for a bit

My daughter from the coast and son in law had so much fun coming over and riding Idaho. Kept saying how nice it was to be somewhere without tons of people all over the place. Couldn’t get over how free they were here. Are already talking about getting back out very soon. They quit hiking because of the amount of people and neither have camped since together because of the bad experiences they’d had.

First time with baby on board that was related to me. Awesome time! Daughter was pretty concerned but 10 minutes riding and she wasn’t concerned. Never done something like this.
They are already talking about buying a camper and getting out. Kept asking questions about different rigs and engines. Can’t say I didn’t try swaying towards reasonably priced dependable alternatives.

Don’t get much better then this. It’s almost like someone upstairs was telling us something. My daughter went nuts when we came around the corner 100ft from camp to see this!

Well it’s been a lot of years with the Polaris. We’re just too hard on things and it didn’t work out. Been just sitting for over two years so it’s on it’s way to it’s new home. Would’ve made a good down payment on a Talon but giving it away to my daughter to ride with her husband on his Honda xr400. Being a two-up quad she can take the baby and enjoy getting out. Couldn’t have made me happier seeing it go away in back of thier trailer. View attachment 134530

It’s funny how one day you wake up and you got older. Well it’s not all that bad, and can’t wait for the opportunity to help grandchildren to ride and hopefully others to enjoy the sport. Nothing I like more then watching family or friends having fun. It was always a family sport and hopefully continues as one.

First bent ball joint I’ve had.
F305B47A 98BD 4325 B9FD 2D0BEE2B8CD1

Well the front end is all new. Bearings, bushings and all the ball joints. Damn AllBalls, found the second broken axle. Honda’s lasted 2500 before had to swap out one. Both AB out within 300 miles. Going to get a second Rhino and try those out. Had to pull out the axle so we can continue the weekend. Explains why we got struggled a bit last night.

Also bent the hell out of the bumper light bar last night. First time ever, it was pretty protected. And that is why I don’t run fender flairs, mirrors or pods. Stuff gets broken
48FDA5F6 3546 49E9 896E F281985C48A5

Again thanks to @RB3offroad and @Neohio. Everything tight and feels amazing! Can assure you I’ll run it hard and test um.
Got a new sticker, probably be buying a new rack this winter, some slop in mine I will bulletproof! D426BBBC A697 4764 A9E8 8C0EA41DEA10

No need to buy a new rack. The gear mesh is adjustable and the the passenger side has a bushing. Holler at me if you need any info. The bushing is cheap and the gear mesh is a PITA to adjust but free.

I think I remember hearing something like that. I’m loving this rig so much. I’m kinda hell bent to get it more solid. I’ve always been against throwing bad ass tie rods in it because of a possible failure of the rack. I kinda wanna take out a few less so thinking I want to get steering more stout so it’ll take the stronger tie rods. Right now just want to ride but looking for a winter project.
