P1000 thoughts 2018 polaris ranger xp 1000

I could be wrong, but I think comparing a Polaris XP 1000 and a Pioneer 1000 are like apples and oranges.
A Polaris XP1000 is a fun machine. It has killer suspension and rips and tears the trails. The pioneer 1000 is a utility rig with enough muscle to have some extra fun. The XP was made to blast the hell out of everything, the Pioneer was made to have fun, but still be functionable as a work platform. As for heat, dust, doors....they both share common problems.
Bottom line, don't by a Pioneer if all you do is rip and tear, and don't buy an XP 1000 if you want a work rig.
Just my thoughts.

Put a deer in the bed of your Rzr.... I did once when I had mine. I’m glad I had 4 ratchet straps and bungees...

Some smart aftermarket guy is going to figure this out and offer a solution it's just a matter of time.. aftermarket clutches exist in almost every vehicle platform. It will happen

I agree with about everyone... the thing Honda has is the platform. It's by far the best platform. Now a couple of the workings need a little adjusting. It'll get there, just a matter of when. As long as Honda takes care of those of us who have already bought machines.. there is no room for b****ing!

selling feature for most...looking to buy

When it breaks I'll fix it. After years of running multi engine offshore fishing boats - I know about fixing things and SXS's are far cheaper.. If you don't like the pioneer 1000 don't buy one it's pretty simple..

The lines look better and clearance. But I just can't get past the front end. Looks like a giant tadpole with mean eyes. No thanks

Until you put 20,000 miles on a Polaris you really don't know about how they hold up. They do work good for the guys that put 500 to 600 miles a year. There are so many problems for high mileage use. The front drive shaft connects to the front dif with a roll pin. I could go on and on about the design problems. I just hate Polaris but I would but the Ranger before I would buy a Can-Am.

I may even consider trading for one if Honda don't step up there game.

I agree the 2017 Ranger XP1000 does not compare to my 2016 P5 with Fox shocks and arched A arms.
It is much better then my Honda! I went out to CO for a week of trail riding expecting to show up my buddie on his new Polaris WRONG he showed me up.

The ONLY reason I have not traded my Honda already is I am not ready to part with my paddle shifters and go to a boring old belt.
