Also got the seat riser installed from 10-80 dirt sports after some trimming on the bracket.

Test drove the buggy again with the seat back and the pedal changes.

Wow what a difference, so much more comfortable and most of the throttle jerking is gone on the rough stuff. No more switch in my knee cap etc.

Drove about 30 miles of gravel and some section lines.

I even found a @Backwoods sized mud puddle…

After the trip thru @Backwoods mud puddle yesterday I decided to install the mud flares I had bought earlier this year..

The youngest and I got chased off the local lake beach by a bad T-storm, but here’s a few photos. I got one of the lake as we were booking it home.

It’s official. Step child is part of the fam now. I quickly temp mounted the plate as the girls wanted to take it into town for the local fireworks/town celebration.

First time running any pavement…rears look perfect. Fronts have bit more negative camber than I expected on the stock arms. This judging by what was black and what was still brown on the tread…kinda the ole chalk method.

Not sure there is much I can do with the front stock arms and running the 32” rockabilly tires it came with.

After driving 7 miles of deer infested country roads late last night with the crappy adjusted led head headlights only, I decided it was important the get my light bar installed for safety reasons.

Trying something different than what it seems everyone else is doing. I may lower it yet closer to the hood. It’s blocking a little bit of the forward view in front of the hood ( it was already lousy imo) in its current spot, but if I remake my custom tabs I can bring it down nearly a full inch yet.

Really dumb question but what brand ore those mirrors? I like the vertical style over the horizontal ones. Obviously need to add some to my ever growing list.

Drove it a bit and decided it really needed to be lowered so I flipped the brackets to lower the light 1/2”. View of the front end is better for this Fatsquatch.

Not dumb question at all.

Cheap set with a rear view that I could invert and tuck up into the roof is what I used on my talon.

The rear view vibrates a bit (calm down @Backwoods ) but a zip tie fixes this.

If I f these up I don’t care so much.

On my P1k5 I have this type, but because they extend out for snow plowing and work with my soft uppers. With the uppers off they are rotated.

Snorkeled? South Dakota - pretty dusty?
Yes So Dak can be very dusty..

The buggy ODO showed about 850 miles when I bought it earlier this spring.

Snorkel…

To be clear I haven’t shown everything I’ve done so far on the buggy for reasons I’ve already posted in other areas..

Battery gave up the ghost last week. Won’t hold a charge for more than a few minutes.

Decided to try this $50 battery for the time being as I’m planning on relocating the battery to another location anyway with a much larger reserve capacity battery and skipping the whole isolator bs.
