Planning on burning my pasture tomorrow.

I need to do the same but it’s too wet right now, I’ll have to be ready when it dries out some to catch a day with less wind.

Its gusting to 40 here out of the north with snow coming. Lack of wind for tomorrow will be the issue. Light and variable sucks for burning.

Yeah, it’s a volatile time of year, short windows to do things right now.

We burned huge brus piles last year about this time at the camp. Needed permit and DNR had to come. We had an excavator throwing stuff on. Burnt it all. You can just see the excavator, and you can see how high he piled them.

Light rain here today. It’s going up to 50’s. Snow is almost gone. Hopefully for this year.

When the piles burnt down, and just piles of glowing embers, it would have been perfect, except you would have burnt your face off with the heat coming off. Bill just used the excavator to keep stirring until it was all gone. Worked great.

We used a leaf blower to get the piles going. Totally soaked. As you can see, they burnt.
