If fire hits leaves that get up in them they just smolder all the way through, like a wind tunnel, and everything still looks fine until the first time you drive over them....Most people concrete the ends for fire and county brush hogs! HA!
Funny you mention that, as is usually the case, Bill Bryson’s book is magnitudes better than the movie.Monte. I know you don’t have tv. But I watched a movie on Netflix tonight. A Walk in The Woods. Robert Redford and Nick Noltie. They walk the Appalachian trail starting in Georgia. It’s a really funny movie.

Did you clear everything we see that’s clear .
Noticed that at the end of the movie. My wife will be looking for it. Got to see some Georgia and the mountains. Beautiful. Could be the Highlands. Redford is 82 and Noltie is 78. I think.Funny you mention that, as is usually the case, Bill Bryson’s book is magnitudes better than the movie.
Looks good Monte. These two photos are the same view. What was on the property was basically a very washed out Jeep trail. I’m making a bonafide road of it.

I did indeed, took the weekend off of that dozer, resting the neck and back.Couldn’t ask for better. Enjoy the ride, man.
Nice. If you put a bubbler in that last water hole, jacuzzi !!!I did indeed, took the weekend off of that dozer, resting the neck and back.
Took some time to poke around the property and found this neat little area.

Well, mama has to be a very smart woman.Lol, that’s what mama said....
Don’t know if it goes dry or not, but I suspect it will. I’ll know this summer. Monsoon is July/August here and I’m sure that thing will be ripping at times then. Right now it has the flow of a garden hose....
You can have this if you want.Lol, that’s what mama said....

Hmmm, no thanks. My garage gets delivered on Wednesday and I’ve managed to escape rain or snow all this time, and there’s no rain in the forecast until Saturday, and then it’s 50%.
It looks like it could get a little muddy. Fingers crossed for the garage delivery. Good luck.Hmmm, no thanks. My garage gets delivered on Wednesday and I’ve managed to escape rain or snow all this time, and there’s no rain in the forecast until Saturday, and then it’s 50%.
Rain right now would prevent that Wednesday delivery. Right now there’s just perfect moisture in the soil to shape and pack the road. Fingers crossed.
Thank you, and you’re correct, rain on it now would be a muddy problem. The way to handle that is to stay off of it after a rain, I have an alternative way back (not suited to bringing the big garage in on though) that I could come and go letting it dry back out for a day or three...It looks like it could get a little muddy. Fingers crossed for the garage delivery. Good luck.

Didn't think of that! Where we live we don't have leaves and we have lot of trees and wind, don't know where they go and I don't care! HA!If fire hits leaves that get up in them they just smolder all the way through, like a wind tunnel, and everything still looks fine until the first time you drive over them....
