57F headed for low 70's and a chilly wind from the Pacific. WA has some fires already and we're seeing smoke as a result. Yesterday in Spokane humidity dipped to 8% and winds gusting into the 20's...prime fire problems. Also seeing light earthquakes in the 2.7+ range in lower ID and North of Yellowstone NP.
It's time to install the heat shield under the seat in the 700...too toasty yesterday. Maybe it will help with the noise too. I put up my hammock frame last night...soothing naps envisioned and a light breeze to rock me into dream land...if not for a neighbor shooting a 45-70 to check some reloads. Fortunately, his shoulder coaxed him into only a few shots.

torrential rain and thunderstorms all day long.turned on the fireplace and cranked 70's funk all day long.all is well in my world.i did manage to powerwash the honda and wash/wax the powerwagon before it hit.

Had a good ride yesterday, it was quite warm when we left the house, but after climbing 3,000’ elevation we found the temperature 15* cooler. Then it clouded up dark and started hailing, turned cold so we needed coats. The hail was nickel size and crushed on impact, not terribly dense, more like mini snow balls.....🤔

Nice!! Do you have a thermometer in your machine? I've been looking for one but haven't found one that reads accurately and isn't effected by engine or other heat near the sensor. Do you have one you can suggest?
Well I can see it now. Will not belong and we will be getting type of weather Caper is getting soon. 😫

Looks like the one I had on my RMK snow machine. If yo are moving you get what might be fair accuracy of outside air temp. If you stop suddenly it thinks it's in Miami and tells you it's 88F and the snow should be melting from under your machine. I tried to convince one of my kids that we should be riding in our under ware and he didn't buy it.I just put these in my SXS’s...

Somehow the major auto makers have figured out how to get reasonable accuracy from their vehicle thermometers...must be a trade secret.

Looks familiar but mine was greener from the 505 peppers!! I don't have a Kokkapelli on wall...looks nice. I do have him on a sticker on my DRZ 400 that I got in ABQ. That reminds me I need to finish Rt 66 to the coast but I'm afraid I'll get stopped at the CALF border without a mask. Maybe I'll wait and see if Ms Jenner wins and fixes the problem.
I'm getting to point where I appreciate rain. Because when it stops it going get hot. Highs today low to mid 80's with rain all day. I dislike anything from 90 up.
It’s going to be hot up here today. Going up to 87, feels like 101.
It was hot yesterday. Going to be hotter Tuesday. Thursday going back down to 65, ish. And rain.
So you can send up that rain too.
