Only sunshine. I cut grass last night and robbed the honey bees of lots of clover flowers....yeah I feel bad.

There was a series of thunder boomers North and West of us last eve and it dropped tennis ball hail and knocked out power. We got wind and lots of thunder but no bad stuff or rain. Cool weekend but upper 90's next week. I wish I had put air conditioning in the 700. Went to the store yesterday in the 700 and my ice cream melted before I got home...life is tough.
I talked to a guy last year that was in the parade for Port Hood days. He was driving a 40’s jeep. Totally restored. But it was about 100 degrees without a roof. Waiting for his daughters getting ice cream. He was dripping in sweat. Haha
I was sitting in the ac in the truck.

65° this morning feels nice from all lows recently of 75°-80°. @Caper
It was 61 here this morning. Didn’t get any of the rain they called for all week. A little the other night. It was supposed to rain yesterday and today and tomorrow. Nothing. Beautiful sunshine and 75 degrees.
Everything they have to tell the forecast, don’t know what it’s going to be this afternoon. Haha
So do you think the heat is done down there for the year. Probably not. 😊
We’ll get some more heat yet.
Next week might be warm, so they say. Haha

Highs Monday is forecasted to be around 98 Monday. Cool off a little as work week goes. Cool front again around Thursday. We will battle with low 90's rest of month probably. September usually brings a cold front through then warm up again mid-September. Then gradual cool off begins mid late September. We got work weekend at camp 20th of August.

We have a cool weekend then back to Aug temps...high 90's...maybe 101F Friday next week. BUT....it's a dry heat!!

I left a griddle outside all winter (yes that was stupid...oldheimers I think) and I'm trying to get it cleaned...need to sandblast I think. It was seasoned to perfection with bacon fat...stupid me!!

Going to be raining brush around here all day, picked this up Friday, new to me tractor.
Very nice. I want a tractor, my wife says for what, I say for everything. It would be great for snow.

Hey congrats Smitty!!! That's the next bigger model from mine. There are times I wish I had a bit more power. I did get a heated and cooled cab which is worth it's weight in GOLD!! I was on it a couple days ago...mid 90's outside and cool in the cab.
