45 cloudy and misty here north of Houston this morning... Damp, cold, wet... would be a great day to be in the woods!!! But No, I'm sitting in my office looking out the window! 
I have 13 more working days until I retire! Headed out to the South Texas brush country on Thursday for a few days... Hope this cooler weather hangs on down that way... It can get downright miserably hot even this time of year in South Texas (near Laredo), but it can get so dang cold it hurts your bones too (though it may only be 50 degrees!! 🤣

You wouldn’t have liked standing waiting for the push for a couple hours. The push was probably 2.5 miles. Standing in knee deep snow in -27 degrees cold. I was good until about the two hour mark when my frostbitten finger got cold. Then toes started to get cold in my Denner 400 g of thinsolate boots. I have Sorel -70 C boots home but wasn’t supposed to be that cold.One of the guys shot a nice buck and it took him about 15 minutes to clean it. He was moving. Haha. That’s about what I take too. Especially when it’s that cold. You would have liked seeing the deer and moose but not liked that cold so much. Haha

Tell me about it! We, Pilgram, Shooter63, RingMaster, RingLeader, Joshtang and I rode rode Friday and Saturday. Joshtang is there for the week
I was driving my friends Ranger in -27. Haha. Everyone else was frozen. I was the only one that was ok. Haha. Hauled the moose out with it. Even for a Polaris, it worked good. Haha Then drove back to Paul’s place to leave it for the week.
My camp is going to get over a foot of snow in the next few days. My brother in Margaree is probably going to double it. But he has a JD with a double stack snowblower on the front. Sitting in the garage all ready. Haha

Well it has all changed! They are talking about rain for Thursday, chance Friday and maybe Saturday.
