We are looking at on an off light rain all week. Mild temps for this time of year. May get some sunshine Friday then rain chances again Saturday.
We need the rain lake and streams are low.Woke up to thunderstorm this morning about 3:30. Suppose be rain on an off rest of week into this coming week. Main system is suppose move through and hopefully give us a break about week from now. May get a little sunshine this Friday before rain starts again Saturday.
YES...but our's is all white...feet of it in the mountains and I finally found my driveway yesterday. We need the rain lake and streams are low.
Rumor has it he and his wife are getting along these days?Well, @Smitty335 you are getting your wish over next week or so. Really it's okay with me too.
Where has @Caper Been?
There are conversion kits, but you would have to research to get the right one. Assuming its a 4 stroke.Anyone have any experience with converting small outboards to propane? I have a propane powered Tahatsu 5 hp and I love it...no messy gasoline and no maint fussing with corn gas. I have a new 2.5 hp Suzuki I want to use on a raft and it would be wonderful if it ran off propane....any ideas??
Can you run 2 stroke oil with propane? HA!There are conversion kits, but you would have to research to get the right one. Assuming its a 4 stroke.
Only a guess but I think it needs to be a 4 stroke...but then I suppose oily propane would work. Olive oil mixes with salad OK.Can you run 2 stroke oil with propane? HA!
Maybe he got a better offer.Any news on @Caper ?
A neighbor gave me a couple lbs of last year's elk burger for the dogs...I ate it...give it to the dog and they will expect it. I gave each of them a giant Costco dog bone and they were happy.Maybe he got a better offer.
I need his (their's) clam chowder formula. I made some yesterday and put scallops in and it was good but maybe too much garlic and not enough bacon. I know canned clams are not the right answer...used to make it with razor clams in AK. Easier to find elk meat here.
Hopeful weather settles down some after this storm system comes through Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.Hope to go deer hunting the last 2 weeks of the year. The better half has the covid so don't know how that's going to work out.
Take her with you. She'll snap outa it!Hope to go deer hunting the last 2 weeks of the year. The better half has the covid so don't know how that's going to work out.
I would have loved 30’d. HahaWell, I got back Tuesday from 5 straight days of high 30's/ low 40's in South Texas with a constant drizzle/ light rain and stiff northeast wind... Absolutely miserable weather for that country!! I did kill a nice management buck with my bow. However, even though we have a nice concrete floor/steel wall construction skinning shed with electric winches and such, it was miserable skinning/cutting up that joker!! I have a friend that killed a very large buck down in Old Mexico and I told him that if I killed a mature buck, I'd cape it out for him. They have a hard time getting hides/capes across the border because of USDA restrictions on tick infestation... Weather forecast was a LOT nicer when I made that commitment to him!! My bad!! Got-er-dun tho and meat is aging in my barn now...
