Cool here this morning but bright sunshine. Probably 20 degrees outside. But really not bad for this time of year. Maybe a little snow next week, but hopefully change to rain by then.

We are at 39 right now. Chances of rain around noon here. Cool and rain on an off most of this coming week. Even few chances of freezing something around midweek.

So it was like a flying Vega. I had an Astra. Mine was a 73. Same car. Fill it up with oil at a gas station and check the gas. 😊
Caper
Just like that. I flew an Otter in AK and I guess all round engines have the same oil burn/drip thing going on.

I went to the shop at 3 PM after nap...it was 42 and balmy. Just came back it's now 940 PM and it's 8F crunchy snow and it glissens in the moon light...clear skies and NOTHING to hold the heat from today on the ground. And, without me even mentioning it you all know where the cold air is coming from.

Those mountains between us and MT do a fantastic job of keeping the cold air East. We're 8 to 12 miles West of the Cabinets so all that Alberta air never gets here. Just a little will follow the big lake and that works out very nicely in the Summer and keeps lake air temps cooler that it is over land. We had warm water temps too. It is nice to take the SxS up the hill in the Summer and above 4K or 5K its nice to get into that nice Alberta air to cool off a bit. At 7K it's really chilly. Of course most of that is just standard lapse rate.

Forecast for MINUS 2F tonight then zooming back into the 20's and 30's next week.

It’s -15 F in southern Alberta today
He texted me this morning. But he’s going to Houston Thursday and meeting up with another friend and going to southern Argentina trout fishing. He said 90’s to 100’s in the day and 80’s at night.
I told him don’t forget his hat.

I see your going to get cold again. Getting really cold up here for a few days at the end of the week.
Can do without that
Haha

At the pre-dawn cooling it was 1.1F but near as I can tell they were wrong...no ZERO.
