Ouch that looks quite a bit worse than the outside pic even. And the original outside pic wasn’t pretty to begin with. Definitely no time like the present for an upgrade I suppose. Keeping a sense of humor about it all is a great sign. Stupid trees!!

Yeah a little bit of work to fix, but not too bad, considering a tree fell on it. Your going to need a few sections of staging. Start with a new ridge board and go from there.

-40? Looks like a really wet heavy snow for-40. We had 10" of wet snow a few weeks back, I've still got limbs to trim that I couldn't get to with my pole saw. Then we had 2" of ice / sleet a couple weeks later, I've got the yard picked up and a pile of brush bigger than a pick up to burn from that mess.
