Yea, we had a little bit of precipitation this afternoon.

It started as a nice, bright, sunny day.

A little light rain started coming down.

Then a little hail came:



Which then became this:



And this on our back upper deck:




This is the neighbor's house. Everything you see is (was) a gravel driveway. Those are all branches and leaves from the trees on top of about 3" of packed hail:



Other neighbor just finished grading, seeding, and putting hay over his soon to be new grass yard (they just built the house). Suffice it to say, there will be no grass any time soon. Also, he had three vehicles parked outside that look like someone dropped a million golf balls on them.

Wow. SW Part of state got hit hard here too. Windshields broken out of Vehicles. Metal roofs all messed up.

Really sorry to hear of that damage. I just left State Farm after many many years with them and went to USAA and saved almost $400. I was asked if we have hail in Idaho and I said it's not like it is in the tornado belt. Ours is more like sleet than hail that does major damage. Hope everyone is OK!!

Just had a reputable roofing company check our roofs. We have significant damages to all our roofs - the main house, the pole barn, and even the chicken coop structure.

Claim has been filed/started.

That's what I'm hoping for. I'd be willing to let State Farm buy my roof. 😂

Just a couple miles down the road from me.
Nice farm to go u-pick for berries to can.
We got hail but the goats, pigs and chickens were smart enough to stay under shelter.
