we got a couple cm of snow overnight.i need to hit the gas station and fill up the pioneer.i see some more shenanigans in my immediate future.

Looks very stormy, winds gettin it. It’s already pretty water logged here but apparently we’ll get some more rain today. Grass in the pasture is vivid green from all the rain but short. Just need some sunshine and it will pop...

New Mexico just fell under stay at home orders. I’m glad our business isn’t retail (hit the hardest) and is considered essential business.

What?????? It’s not bulls***, it’s a necessary inconvenience, and after interstate travel, we have to do it. As a matter of fact, nearly all of the measures being taken across the country are odious, the bump that I can already see my business is going to take is going to be painful. I can acknowledge both the necessity and the pain of the measures, which I have done elsewhere, at the same time.
You have not seen me criticizing the measures federal, state and local governments are taking anywhere....
You're defense to your hypocrisy is that you haven't criticized the measures being taken.

Clearly that is an eye roll about the quarantine "measures" put in place. It is absolutely hypocrisy on your part.
It turned to pouring rain here. Had to get the snowblower out. I’m soaked everything except my shirt. My HH winter rain coat works perfect.
I suppose the plow will wait until the snow is so heavy it will be four feet high with the snow balls at the end of the driveway.
So much fun.

On another note, weather note. Haha, my neighbor said last month I lost a piece of siding off my camp. He said it was really windy.
Well looking at these pictures, I guess I’m lucky. 229 klms winds would be, around 140 mph .
We get some wind in Cape Breton.
Chetticamp is the only place I know of that the shutters on the houses actually close over the windows.
Lucky I have extra siding at the camp. And my neighbor is going to replace it for me. Now I’ll have to bring him a nice bottle of wine on the long weekend. The excavator guy. Haha
