I have a aluminum double axel 7x14 vnose stealth trailer with 1’ extra head space and a side door.
I used to have a open trailer which worked great for local trips, but one long trip made my decision to an enclosed trailer. Got tired of seeing my utv being covered in snow/ice and road grime depending on the time of year. I no longer worry about my utv taking rock chips or if the roof will stay on. Plus the trailer doubles as a storage shed and really doesn’t get worse mileage than an open trailer with the utv on it.
I painted the interior with a white deck paint and the base with a gray deck paint with grit in it so I don’t fall on my rear when ice fishing. I have etrack at 2.5’ and 5’ on all exterior walls and split down the middle. Since I have a 5ver I kept my trailer more utilitarian. And often tow it behind my 5ver.
