Of coarse my 14” rims won’t transfer:mad:

Where did you hear this? Why won’t they transfer fitment on brakes or lug pattern? I figured a lot of people would just swap their bigger tires and wheels off and put the new ones on the pioneer at sale or trade.

CT Racing mentioned in a video that a 14 will probably not clear the larger brakes. Does look tight even with a 15.

What if you ran spacers?

Maybe. Might have to get pretty wide though. Would have to get the inside of the rim outside of the calipers and it looks like the whole caliper is inside the rim on front.

There seems to be a decent amount of space between the floor of the bed and the frame / differential area. I think it would have been cool if they would have done a hatch in the bed to access a compartment where you could store Trail Essentials like recovery strap and tire repair EtcView attachment 95807

Looks like a great place to store something.....oh I know! A turbo!

Ok, so check out these pictures of the display. A couple of them show 2wd unlocked, one shows i4wd, and the last shows i4wd locked. You guys that have i4wd, can you make it show lock/unlocked? And whats with the unlocked 2wd? If you flip through the pics, check out how the black plastic push pins on each side of the display in the red area move just a little. Makes me think the pics are all photo shopped.

Oh and I still don't like that it doesn't have a hitch, but at least it has a real nice place to hook up a strap.

Its common for the aftermarket to make a hitch that bolts to the 4 link rod bolts in the back for cheap.

I would love to have that intake and air box setup for the pioneer.

  2. Talon X
This is my first post and a few concerns with the Talon... I love the HP/Weight ratio of mountain sleds(my sled 160hp/480lbs) and Sprint Cars(410sprint 950hp/1400lbs). The Talon looks awesome for a starter machine, with that low of HP I would expect a lot smaller machine. I was hoping for a far better motor. To start Honda offers 136hp in the cbr1000rr bike that weighs a lot less than a sxs. Why can’t we have 200hp in a sxs, 400hp even. The HP to weight ratio in sxs has a long ways to catch up for us none turboed HP junkies. I will still buy a talon because it’s a Honda and has The DCT (wish it had 10 gears so I could run in low to make up for low HP) with one condition... will I fit in it?
I am 6’6” and 280lbs, I had to make changes to fit in my pioneer with a heal riser to keep from cramping while running the pedals. I’m hoping I don’t have to cut up the Talon to fit in it. Nobody thinks of the big guys when making cabs.
