I bought 2016 pioneer 1000-5 with 10,000 miles
the price was right and the unit was exactly what i was after! bought september 2019. ill be catching you guys up to present day rather quickly with old pictures.

the miles brought the price down. not beings scared of work but very scared of spending money i bought it!
came with full Honda cab. hard doors. rear panel. bed insert. full glass windshield with whiper, aftermarket tires, light bar and the honda accessory fuse box and a few little odds and ends for 10,000$

fist thing i noticed is it doesn't have heat! and Honda's full cab sucks compared to my uncles Polaris. and my friends kabuto..

here is a rough pictures of day one trailering it home!

a good picture of it with the doors and rear cab off doing the first clean up.. 10,000 miles of dust removal.

soon after buying the unit i started to add heat... this was a mess.

this is the storage space under the seat.

this is the hoses running up to the front of the unit. i used a peace of 1.5" pvc with a slit cut into it to protect the hose from the drive shaft. i just slipped it over the drive shaft and zip tied it in place. (its not in the picture youll see it in the redu of the heat.)

i used the cup holders for the defrost and top vents
1617027990132

i put the defrost vent in the access panel for the feet warmer. i did this so i wasn't modifying my dash. i can replace this panel if needed... (good thing i ended up reducing the heat and bought a new panel.)

now that i have heat installed it was time for a new paint job... the charcoal looks good when new but 10,000 miles in the scratches and sun fad on the black plastic makes the color panels blend in and look all worn out.

oh i guess i did my turn signals some where before he paint job.. no pictures of that mess. one tip i will give is the 2016 pioneers the brake light wires are separate wire for left and right but then they tie into a bullet connecter by the tail gate. you'll need to cut the bullet connecter off and make the true dual wires. i used a Toyota truck trailer adapter kit. and switch and blinker from amazon.

1617028745238

got to stay warm while i build stuff!!
1617028789662

oh and i stoll the color panel off my half doors. i drilled out the full door and used plastic rivits.
1617028856176

now that the plow has a swivel mount and is somewhat finished i made a custom arm to connect to my unit.

what i did was make a plate that bolted to where the front and rear frame bolts together. the tab hangs down about 1.5" and has hole for the swing arm of the plow to bolt to.. i mounted the plow further back like this so the weight of the plow was carried on the front and the back shocks. it weights 220LS

i bought a spring kit.
and if your notice the one part that isnot painted.. it was made out of .25 plate... i remade it out of .5 to avoid it getting bent again.

now if i didnt make it clear.. the honda cab sucks!!

so i spent alot of time sealing it up! silicone the gauge cluster.. because that leakes air for some reason...

also i bought expanding foam shipping bags.. you pop them and they fill cavities full.. they work great filling the gaps under the seat where a ton of air come in from around the roll cage.

also i re did my heat.. i moved the floor heat to behind my calf to keep the run as short as possible. and i insulated the duct work best i could.

this is under the windsheild infront of the fire wall

under the floor board, also you can see the pipe protector i made.

shift boots installed!!\
1617031891614

if you look close you can see the silicone job on the cluster.. it attracts dust.. but when cleaned it actually looks nice.
