Your plow blade looks excellent. I'd love to fab up a cutting edge on the back side for back dragging. I'll prob get that done before next winter season. Nice work on your machine!

Looks good man! Nice job 🤟
thanks man! means a lot from you after looking at your awesome build! i have so many question for you.. specially about your roll cage mod.. i really want to do something like the one i see on cfabs web site. but i cant because of my full cab.. i think trying to get the already horrible doors to seal up tight would be a mess. i thought about doing a summer cage and a winder cage but that's a pain in the rear.

this unit is awesome lookings.. just full cab holding me back.

thanks man! its been a lot of work.. and its pushed a lot of snow! and some rock.. I hope I can continue to fine tune it. I've got a stronger swivel plate in the works. the swivel joint has gotten loos and because of that the plow edge wasn't sitting quite right.

Yeah, took me a long time to think about doing that chop. It changes alot of what u already done. Lots of one of a kind mods when u do it. Yes a summer winter would be a royal pita.

does any one have some really good info or a form that talks about stiffening the frame by the a arms tabs?

i know ive seen some angle iron welded in and something about top bolt and heavy washers being added.

just looking for things i can look into before get my a arms in.. also i think i saw the same guy stiffin up the cross braces on the unit. is all this needed or over kill?

Your last sentence just answered all your questions ;)

all depends on where your riding and riding style! Has alot to do with if u need that much stuff. I do not. I have ridden fairly rough at times. But also have full aluminum skids and it keeps the frame very tight the way they tie in.

The Pioneer has been super reliable for me. The 2 broken wheels and calipers sucked both otherwise it has a pretty good track record of making it home. I'd guess most other side by sides would struggle with my typical fun.

ill look at beefing up the a arm tabs.. and probably leave the rest of the frame alone.. I don't do a whole lot of fast pace riding on trails... only thing I see is running 40mph in a field and a sudden wash out.. most of my riding is hill climbing or crawling type of ride. more of the "can I do it" less of the "how fast can I do it"

I did buy this unit with the idea i would have to modify and manipulate it.. that's why the 10k miles didn't bother me.. i custom fabricate everything I own... my wife says I cant leave things alone.. I say they didn't make the unit for me they made it to sell to every one..
