Great day at the dunes today. Look at the roost coming off the tires from my daughter drag racing. She crossed the line first. Few pics of her jumping too😍
JAT still going and kicking plenty of ass still. “Slightly” more haggard and more mileage then anything else out there

Few pics from the weekend. Daughter and I hit the trails. Got into s*** we really shouldn’t have being alone in single machine but the Talon got us back out yet again.

Hey, U Krazy Sh!t - R U still running without a low range? 😲
Ya. Been over 4k miles like that. Gotta hit things a little faster then I’d like sometimes and stay in manual but it’s doing it
Watched a bunch of belt issues behind me though🤣

Pulling the subtrans isn't fun. I just got one out of the Talon in my shop. After I figured out that neither prop shaft had to be removed, I slide the front diff forward and the subtrans kinda fell out.

Pull the subtrans before you pull front prop shaft. The front bracket was/is ignorant to get the DS bolt out of. But remove some bolts a,d push pins from the area and you can slide the floor up a bit.
I used a ratchet strap around the front diff to pull it forward, once it was forward, I slide the sub trans forward on the 2 m8 studs. disconnected rear shaft, (made sure it wasn't stuck) then slid it back on the studs, removed studs, push subtrans forward to disconnect rear shaft, then drop out the bottom, slide it back off front shaft. That part took me forever to realize I could do it that way. Every video I watched, guys made it sound like front shaft had to be removed from subtrans before dropping it. That wasn't the case for me.

That’s great info! Man I appreciate it, I’m about 3 weekends of riding till I can get on it.

CP, If you can find some M8 (8x1.25) jam nuts, or make your own, it will make removing the 2 long studs easier. I had barely enough thread engagement on the 2nd nut to lock together and remove the stud. I grabbed a few jam nuts from work and will use that to put back together.

Ya that’s no problem. Thanks Neohio!
