Will this will work in the second battery slot? Regular Lead acid shouldnt be mounted on the side (they can spill) from my understanding. which is why the mighty max and odyssey are good choices (they are AGM and Sealed lead acid so they wont leak)

I could be wrong though. Thats just what i recall

It fits in the slot upright. I did buy the mighty max battery also with some amazon points my wife racked up. It is too big for the compartment.

a mighty max will fit, i have one in mine and many others have it in theirs. Check to make sure you have the right one.

Ordered the Mighty Max ML26-12. Found it for $47 on eBay. Only paid $3.00 when I used my eBay Bucks . I also bought the Boss 34” soundbar lol.

When I called Tru Isolator they told me they designed for the Odyssey battery, there pricy though!

So will the Tru isolator work with the Mighty Max batteries?

Also can someone confirm that the MM 35AH will fit in battery slot please.
The wife finally gave me the go ahead to order the rest of my goodies!!

They will work with any battery, HA!

Mine lasted roughly 10 months before it dropped a cell. I ended up going with an Odyssey. Mine was on a tender when it wasn't being used at camp.

Well thats disheartening ...hopefully that isnt the case with all the MM batts.

The the last pic you posted is the battery I ordered hopefully that is the right one. I clicked on the link that was provided and it lead me to that one

With this kit for the dual Battery will the volt gauge only come on when the key is turned on. I do not want to have to put switches in to turn on the power for my battery gauges

Yes..it comes with a relay that i have wired to the key on accessory.

Just an FYI, I've had the Mighty Max battery and the True isolator in my P1K-5 for over a year now and no problems with either, great setup.
