Well got surprised and Fed Ex stopped by today on a Saturday, ground shipping no less from RM ATV. I had just placed the order on Friday about 4 PM now that is service, all items came from their KY warehouse. So what was added today?

Roll Cage mounted Fire Extinguisher - Gotta be ready for anything -Them PoPo fellas just cant resist carrying fuel in the hot bed of those RZR's.
RotoPax 3 Gal Gas Can & Quick Mount
Rubber Floor mats

Already had this but just put on today - HiLifter 36" UTV Jack and quick release mounts.

When you see the Hi-Lifter jack you'll say why does he carry something so heavy for a little SxS? Yes a scissor jack will do but look at the jack closely, see the gold claw it can act as a spreader (if you ever seen a crushed roll cage with someone trapped in it, this jack is worth it's weight in gold) it can also act as a come along in case the winch ever fails you or needs extra pull.

Damn! You're even more paranoid than I am! HA! I knew that I wasn't nearly as OCD as my wife said. There are others out there!

I would rather be prepared than under equipped. About 8 years ago I saw a Rhino do and end over end at Evarts KY I don't know how many times it went over in a 1500+ ft drop but is was nasty. The rollcage had collapsed crushing in on him trapping him in the SxS. Nobody had anything to budge the rollbars without hurting him further. I was on my 2006 Rincon back then, I told myself I ever got a SxS I would have a way to pry that rollbar up if I wasn't trapped myself. Who knows it may be a family member that is spared because you had one.

Damn straight. I should have been a boy scout, I always try to be prepared for anything. I live by the rule that "Two is one, and one is none."
Learned that from my Dad. He drove a 3/4 ton GMC, squatted from overflowing toolboxes, until the day he died.

Well, you have corrupted me, again. I'm going to see if Amazon has High-Lift jacks. Guess I'll have to buy/build a rear bumper for it, also. This "beginning" will never end. Ha!

Oh! I love Rocky Mountain! They were one of the few companies who would ship tires directly to me up here. I'll give them a look. Thanks, buddy! That makes this all the easier.

Should have my 30" Light bar 16,500 lumen in by Tuesday along with the under seat storage box and finish mounting my 4 point harnesses and that will be the end of my practical upgrades, thus far everything had a practical purpose except the MTX sound bar that was just a want having never had tunes on the trail. Once those are all in the week will post my final photos.

Love the ride, I'm working on mine now....tires are next going with bighorn 26-11-12's all the way around. Here in Alaska I never leave home without my highlift jack....they can be used as a winch anchor if no trees are around, although getting it out of the mud can be a challenge. The highlift works ok but when I'm doing trails way up north where trees are none existent I carry a series of steel pipes with a wedge welded on one end. Start with a 3 or 4 inch pipe about 40" long with second insert that slides inside. Drill a couple holes for bolts and you have an extendable mud anchor that if set right will get you out of the mud....used one last year while surveying trails for the state to winch an Argo out of a mud hole(yes my boss proved you can bury an Argo up here) my mud anchor saved a 20+ mile hike back out to get a second machine.

I have used a similar tactic for an anchor. I used 3/4 ton truck axles, ground to a point on the splines (diff end). They are hardened, and the hub face makes for easy driving with a sledgehammer. It also keeps tow straps from slipping off. I also made a crude spanner wrench, so you could twist it loose for easier extraction, after the winching was over. Worked well in AR, don't know why it wouldn't work up here.

Final phase completed this evening, finished hooking up the 4 point restraints, installed the under seat storage (took longer to open the box lol) and mounted and wired up the 30" Spot/Flood LED light bar. Below are some detail photos on hooking up the 4 point restraints in a P500. I don't think many have done this. I already like it better with the BEARD restraints you stay put much better and feel the suspension working instead of getting jiggled around.

Top Mounting point for 4 Point restraints:

How did you mount the bed to the rack?

I drilled into the 3 flat rails 4x each front to back, secured with 1/4" x 1.5" self tapping screws. It is solid, no rattles due to using 3M 2 sided foam automotive molding tape between rack and the bed.

Ok.. I really like that harness. Ya. Its going on the P1k.
Only question I need answered after some ride time.
Are they in the way when not in use? Like are you sitting on them while they stab you in the back?
