Are you talking about cameras or GPS? I see lots of GPS with built in batteries, but I have not seen a camera with a built in battery.

@pFive The real answer to your question is "No." :p The wi-fi is used to control the camera from your cell phone.
I second that! @PistonHonda turnd me not to the same one, but I haven’t figured out the wi fi. Too much to think about in my head lol.

Mine came with another case that is not waterproof. I put a ball mount on it and that was it.

Mine came with a soft case and a butt ton of accessories. Yes it has the slots in the waterproof case for soound, but you still get the rattle as it pics up everything! That’s what music is for:D. Also, a lot of the ram mounts are real nice to make it versatile for your ROPS. Mine is the 4K model virtually the same thing. As noted abouve the batteries are cheep and a dual batter charger is as well. Just get a good micro SD card and your good to go! The only issue I have is taking it out of the waterproof case. I’ve had mine a year and it’s still a pain in the ass! Then again, so am I o_O

I bought the same camera about a month ago on Amazon, without realizing there was a thread here about it. I like it so far but haven't used it much. Still trying to figure it out actually.

I've got a couple hours of video from Windrock last week, I need to post up to YouTube.

Messed with the camera mount today and finally have it in a good place. Ended up hanging it off the front bar. I found a case to mount it in other than the waterproof one hoping that the audio would be better but it's crap and there's no way to hook up an external mic. Didn't come close to handling what I was throwing at it. Video was good though.

Your speakers have probably thumped that microphone deep into the innards of the camera.

No problem. I think they both have the Virb XE.
Yep, Two Virb XE's and Two Virb Elite's. The Garmin's are top quality and the XE's are way down in price now because of the new one that's out. The Garmin's come with editing software and of course they take advantage of what Garmin is noted for with the GPS input available with the camera. You can also run one or more cameras through your phone with the Garmin APP. Sound is also second to none. Bite the bullet and get the Garmin you will have a whole lot more camera.

Mounted up the camera on the passenger grab handle. I can turn it on or off easily while driving, and I figure it is somewhat protected. Gonna play with this cheap camera a little while before upgrading to the Garmin.

I have one of my mounts there. It's a good spot because the passenger can control it.
