I think I did this when I got buried in creek gravel. I doubt any guards would have helped. Can’t think of any other time it would have been close.

You left that out when you told the story the first time.

We need boot guards for these Super ATV a arms! Wish someone with a little shop and talent would make them. @knuckledeep , @Delton
Didn’t do the back, just arms in front. The diameter is greater than stock so the clamps weren’t perfect. I just put the end in a vise and bent to fit

I'm starting to have some free time with this new job so I'll look into it and see what I can come up with. any preference on thickness or material type

Finally able to get out and put some miles on the machine today! Much thanks to @Ragnar406 for being a riding buddy. Had probably 40 machines shoe for a night ride. 4 P-1000’s. Couple 500’s too! I need to do some maintenance on my tide bad! Control arm bushings are wasted! Glad to be in the woods though.

I'm right with you on needing to do some maint man. Got an axle popping and front arms need greasing bad. Rear bushings are shot. I got over 5200 miles before it needed anything but brake pads. I got no complaints. Post some pics!!

Of course.... I didn’t take any. I think @Ragnar406 took some and some video so hopefully he will be updating his thread soon. He was still there riding. Wouldn’t surprise me if he stays out there. I bet that groups rides til sunup or close to it.

Good luck to them is all I can say. This old man needs some beauty sleep.

Lots of fun, we need to get back out there with a smaller group and explore more. I almost stayed think I made it home about 3:30 - I only took a couple of photos and one trail video.. I’ll get that posted. I I might have stayed longer but at the very end I had gone back to see if I could help some people with a flat ... started going back down the hill and my brake petal went darn near to the floor and I could tell something was ... thought about yelling “kilobunga” but when we looked the left rear brake line bolt had come loose - I guess they really mean it when they say locktight is strongly recommended ...

I changed out 2 bushings in the front yesterday. It was way easier than expected. I had no play in the others so I left them.

It is always neat when we show up to a mostly Rzr ride - @nbomar can attest it is like the pioneer is a mystical creature out in the wild - always draws a bunch of people who are inquisitive about.

“This trail is too hard!”

“All the Honda’s made it!” LOL
