Definitely but have you looked at the results of any "fender bender" in a new Ford truck accident?

You mean the same Ford truck that has the highest safety rating of any in its class? Or is that another I'm thinking of?

That's what insurance is for... they fix fender benders. They won't pay to fix a truck rusting out. Chevys are bad about it.. my dodge was bad about it. And now that's not a concern. In 10 years you'll still be able to buy a used Ford and it look good. Besides.. They'll all be aluminum soon.

No one believes that they are all testing aluminum bodies, but that's the way of the future. Ford just did it first.

I guess it's only fair to reveal that I'm a Ford guy through and through. BUT, I have NO problem admitting defeat or that something else is superior. Hell I considered an SS before I bought the F150 but it just didn't have the tow rating.

Wanted a Ford saved 20k and got a Chevy.... wish I'd kept my '98 Tahoe and 11 Acura TL SH-AWD

The Tahoe was more reliable with 300k than my 14 Silverado since 2k. The Acura was way nicer and WAY more fun to drive.

Local shop can't see it until fiday. Check some power connections tonight but looks like I'm about to get reamed at the dodge place tomorrow. Ya.

Very possible if the speed sensor circuits go through the abs control unit. Did they say no power to the unit or the unit itself is faulty. Still thinking you have a bad wire in column or faulty ign. Switch. Did they get a code for the air bag?

It's possible, Ford uses the ABs module to process the speedo signal, dodge may do the same.

Really, really sounds like bad feed circuit from ign. Switch. Or possibly TIPM. Mopar has had pretty good issues with those as well. But given you said moving wires in column before effected things, leaning towards wire in column....

This fkn guy! What you said plumber! I'd keep that Dakota. I've had 3 of them and miss that truck every single day. You couldn't pay me to drive a Chevy. The interiors appear to have been designed by Hasbro, and the Eco-boost is a flat out riot, but Ford is proud of them. I disclose that I am a Mopar guy with a Ford pickup. Sue me.
