I would love to see someone put on one of the big factory boot bands. Along with the tool they use.

bought all balls boot replacement for my front inner cv boot. broke both bands that came with all balls kit . didn't really like those band any ways. bought honda factory bands and the tool. wow! honda cv boot must be thinner because both bands were a pain and very tight. but the tool helps and makes it easier.I would love to see someone put on one of the big factory boot bands. @Ragnar406 If that is an ear style Oetiker style clamp, grab a decent set of pliers and you will be fine.

I had no problem taking them off but for the life of me I could not get the big clamp to attach... so I took the axle down to a friends shop and he popped it together in like 2 sec... with a pair of Polaris pliers (pliers used to remove the plastic rivets)The big one is easier than the small one. And they are easier to install than remove.
I had purchased another set of pliers but they would not even spread apart enough to get a good grip on the band. I ended up using channel locks and part of the issue is I could not get a good grip on the band.@Ragnar406 If that is an ear style Oetiker style clamp, grab a decent set of pliers and you will be fine.

Knipex has a cheaper option on the same link, but only has the crimps on the ends, instead of the side as well.I had purchased another set of pliers but they would not even spread apart enough to get a good grip on the band. I may give these a try for next time... cause there will be a next time lol

I use a set of pliars like these only mine have about a 14" handle. I've used that style clamp for years on various machines and they work pretty well. When it didn't work I just put on a big hose clamp and tightened it down.I had purchased another set of pliers but they would not even spread apart enough to get a good grip on the band. Long time since I updated
I added an external speaker for my UHF radio up behind my head on the ROPs - tested out today in a ride with @my99svt and I will say I waited way too long to do this.. I hear much clearer.

I covered the holes in the rear mudbusters with some small pieces of rubber - worked well today

I tried to fully test it out lol

And it dawned on me why my son always wants to play in the mud....
Looks like fun!!Here you can clearly see the mudbusters working....
I had an extra Honda ROPs clamp that I mounted the speaker bracket to - gives a little flexiability to move location if I need to..The backs not even dirty! Lol. I like the location on the speaker. Might need to move mine.

Funny thing was @my99svt and I drove over that exact path not 20 min before and never knew the ground was soft ... then taking that way back my front tires just sunk right in ... Tim did not believe that was the same route (we we’re going through woods off trail around a huge treen in the trail) but we could see our tire tracks where we crossed that same ground.Looks like fun!!
