I've heard of more that had low or no charge than I have fully charged ones. I still cannot figure out why Fox continues with this system instead of jut putting a Schrader on them.

Got my shocks done today at ST. After a little over 700 miles all of them were low on nitrogen charge, fronts only had about 85psi, instead of 200psi according to ST. ST installs schrader valves when they do the work.

Took advantage of a day off today to tend to a side project. I had purchased the Erickson Manufacturing UTV trailer tie down system on the open trailer. The system consists of 8 wheel chocks that have E track attached to them and 4 e track straps. Really nice that the double over and sew the end of the straps so they can't slide out of the ratchets. Note that the manufacturer says that 30" tires are the max but there was plenty of strap to go around my 32" Roxxzilla's which actually measure 31".

I loaded the Talon and set the chocks in place. Marked the holes in the chocks and unloaded the Talon. All 4 of the rear chocks had 2 bolts each that matched up with cross members. None of the front bolts hit anything but the wood deck. I used grade 8 bolts with 2" fender washers on the bottom on all the bolts that did not go thru a cross member. All the bolts got nylock nuts.

This is a way better system than the standard crank straps that I've been using.

Looks good. Thanks for the link. I need to set up my trailer this way. Got the Bandit tender springs on the other day. Not a bad job thanks to your video. I'm waiting on my Rockblox fender flares, A-arm and trailing arm guards to come in this week. Once those are in and put on, I'll take it for a good ride on the farm land around me. Also, we may look at going on a trip to northern Arkansas to ride. If we do I'll hit you up for good places to go, and places to avoid.

Gotta give a shout out to @Hondasxs for the new adapter for the oversize switch holes in the Talon. I had already used a regular Clarling housing to adapt my winch rocker into the hole by the headlight switch but was never really happy with how it fit in the hole. This adapter solves that. Has texture like the dash and looks right at home. Places the switch out flush as it should be. Great little piece for $12.99 shipped.

Funny you mentioned that - I JUST ordered the plate a few minutes ago. Perfect place to put the winch switch!

Sweet.
Thanks for the pics. Looks good.

Ya, I bought maybe a dozen different adaptors looking for the right one. Some were close but none fit like I thought they should. This one does.

I modded a Carling center adapter to get the winch switch mounted but as you can see, the switch was too deep in the hole. Yours is perfect.

Couple of ride video's from the New Year's Day ride at Buckhorn OHV trails in NW Arkansas. 26 machines working our way thru the trails. It was a very fun day.

Couple of projects for today. Project #1 was to get the Samsung Galaxy tablet in the Talon. Samsung had them on sale a few days ago for $119 so I couldn't pass it up. Bought a cheap mount and case on Amazon. $170 in the whole setup. I don't ride without Cheryl so I mounted it to the dash right in front of the passenger. She loves maps and navigating so she'll love it.

I drilled out the base and used 4mm stainless button heads to mount the base. 4 big fender washers on the back side for some additional support.

The iBolt mount was $30. Seems decent. Guess time will tell but I think it will work fine.

Project #2 was to replace the Honda gear bag. As many of them have, the zipper broke. I did not want another bag so I returned it to the dealer for store credit. Opted for the Tractor Supply 32" box that several others have used. Nothing fancy but seems like it should do the job. My TSC only had one and it literally looked like crap. Covered in bird poop and generally a bit rough. They gave me $20 off. It cleaned up fine so all good for $59.

I picked up 4 D rings from Harbor Freight and mounted them on the box with more stainless button heads. I ordered some nylon straps with clips similar to the Honda bag so the new box will mount in the same way to the same points on the Talon. Won't have the straps until Monday.

I did not care for the TSC emblem so drilled out the rivets and filled the hole with more button heads. The box fits great in the Talon.

I used some foam weatherstipping I had on hand to help seal the lid. Nice that the box holds much more than the Honda bag.

Now to decide if I'm going to put the tail gate back on, go with some different type of bed extender or just leave it as is.

I am using the same box (WORKS GREAT). What cooler is that you have? Looks like it fits perfect. Looking for something I can shove a sandwich and few things in when we ride.
